Sorry, but the sticker bomb looks horrible. Just fix the hood.

i know it looks horrible, he knows it looks horrible. i think he was more focused on getting his build and tuning dialed in, over looks.

unbelievably clean amazing job! The sleeper wagon with the meaty sti rims and tires with matching brembo's tell anyone who knows what to look for this isnt your normal winter cruise around. amazing job.

A couple new photos of mine in winter mode. I'm sure some people will say it's not a sleeper due to the fact that it's a late model body style, but it looks close enough to stock that it should surprise a few people. The only real exterior change is the flat hood and visible (although blacked out) FMIC. The car has close to 500WHP and currently has the stock exhaust on, so it is very quiet

Ben, your car looks faster and is faster than mine. I didn't know you got a scoopless hood until a month ago or so. Both of ours have roughly the same exterior mods other than me not having a widebody.

Were you able to find a really quiet exhaust that still flows really well? I've got the SPT and I don't really want to get any louder, but I want to make sure I've got all the power I can get. Anyone else have any ideas? I thought about whatever I may get, adding a flow through muffler or two in the mid-pipe.

I currently have the GReddy SP Elite. It looks really nice, but somewhat OEM-ish. It's quieter than the SPT (but louder than stock). I like it a lot. I know the widebody kind of kills the "sleeper" vibe, but overall it's a pretty stock looking car.

I hope this falls as a sleeper.

this was my base pull. Ive since changed the muffler as well from the megan to the spt bosal for that oe look. plus i got tired of getting pulled over because it was too deep. hahahaha

Certainly a cool build. The wheels and exhaust may give away the sleeper status. Nice car either way.

Yeah. It's not as bad with the spt muffler. It's pretty quite at an idle even with the cams. It's a 2011 sti 2.5 hybrid with machined 05 2.0l heads to match, mahle forged pistons 8.5:1, 272/272 crower cams titanium valve retainers and springs, vf39 and of course 565cc inj. I want to eventually go with an ewg and a bigger turbo. Goal for me is 500whp and yes I said a vf39. A lot of people are surprised that I got that with just wastegate pressure on a vf39.
