It doesn't have HIDs. HIDs don't generate enough heat to melt snow off the lenses in heavy storms, and the increased intensity of light at a cooler color temp means more scattered light (glare) from dirt/grime on the lens.

I didn't need gas that night.. I needed to clear off the headlights for the 20th time.

Is your smartphone charged up? If so, you might consider using the free iTranslate app:

Oops. Yeah it does voice but needs the $2.99 voice recognition module.

Just officially, this car wasn't official. It was a local-market deal.

I was beginning to fear that SOA Blog postings on this forum had gone the way of the dodo.

Since FHI decided not to make any announcement at this year's Paris Motor Show (the world's largest, by attendance), I think the locals did a decent job of filling the gap with the "Line Concept" BRZ and XV tuner cars.

But I'm baffled why FHI didn't use this year's Paris Motor Show as the world debut of the imminent FMC Forester. Instead, the world is now discussing poor-quality pictures of the new Forester, like this one:

I believe that SOA has SIGNIFICANT input about when and how new Subaru models are introduced to the public worldwide. So, SOA Blog, I'm blaming YOU for this new Forester introduction fiasco.

lol. can't win for losing, or is it lose for winning?

It's certainly good to know some officially official information, although it's not surprising that subaru wouldn't be announcing anything with the car when it's still less than a year into the first year of release.

Those wheels should be available as a dealer option... and not priced like the BBS wheels available on the bugeye WRX, SOA. Looks fantastic.

edit: I'm talking about the BRZ XT wheels... not the Forester wheels.

BBS CF might not be quite as expensive aftermarket, as the BBS accessory wheels through Subaru were...

XXR 518 are actually a closer resemblance, but from what I could see, they are 5x114.3 only... STI hub and brake swap, perhaps.... but that is getting expensive again.

Seems that SOA Blog's online presence gradually reduced after Mahoney left.

Except to say that choice of auto show is extremely complicated.

You just need to have Nick enable a signature for your account that says.

"We can not and will not confirm, deny, give insight on, unreleased product"

Will save you a bit of typing lol

I appreciate that you guys are here and can at least be a sounding board for us and our thoughts. It is very difficult to be so enthusiastic about a company, own stock in it, and yet not be able to be involved in it. Sometimes I wish I lived in Cherry Hill...
