don't feel bad. It's not you that's screwing us, but either someone at our supplier or at tokico.

what kills me about stuff like this is we looked into going direct to tokico in the past. the buy in was huge, but not surprising. The thing was they were strutting up and down about their MAP and price protection policies. yeah... that was BS.

I'm willing to bet TiC's D-specs don't come pre-beat up like these off Amazon did

Now to go complain to them...

Looks solely cosmetic..suspension components look like crap after 100 miles anyway. As long as it's only scratches and none of the mounting points or strut shafts are nicked or beat up I'm sure they're fine.

Still if your purchasing from a vendor, opening a box to see that is discouraging. You are paying for a product and it should be perfect(or close to it).

given that this is how Tokico packs them, I dont care who you buy them from, by the time FedEx/UPS/bobo the shipping gorilla gets done throwing them around, unfortunately this is what most of them will look like.

Usually I ask the fedex/ups guy if they were playing soccer with my stuff.

Just look up fedex delivery or something on youtube.

Get over it when it comes to something like this. Its cosmetic, nothing more. That is the prettiest it'll ever be in its life

Haven't been on it, to me personally if its functional it works. Simply saying most people do not want to see something like that out of a brand new box.

the ones i bought from TiC had some paint chipping on all 4 around the spring seats, but were not NEARLY as bad as the ones you got. its not a failure on any reseller though, its purely a failure on the way Tokico packages the struts. the box and packaging is poorly designed. you're going to get some of this wherever you purchase.

yours seem damaged along the strut tower and where the strut attaches to the rotor assembly. luckily it should be all purely cosmetic. hit it with some automotive spray paint to protect the metal an be done with it, its not like you're buying struts to look good since you barely (if at all) see them once installed.

after seeing this, im feeling more glad i purchased through TiC than Amazon.

Yea, it is mostly cosmetic, one is bent around where the brake line gets run through. I wasn't sure if this was Amazon warehouse packaging or the Tokico packaging, it surely is piss poor though.

Just received mine, they're are a couple dings on the spring perch's but that's it. They were packed in foam etc pretty well inside of 3 boxes. Nothing too terrible

yaa we deal with the same thing at my work.. different companies with different levels of enforcing map policies, so some retailers undersell legit ppl by a huge margin

have you guys figured out what is going on with your acct on tokico?? i was going to get a setup from you guys at some point
