Stock turbo gave out so I did a small upgrade to a blouch big 16gxt, also threw in a up pipe, and some samco hoses. Now I just need to finish putting everything together and get a tune.

Thinking about picking up a turbo heat shield, wondering what the benefits are? No other engine mods done and none planned for a while.

Recent post on heat shield vs. PTP turbo blanket with thermal imaging. I run a PTP on my 1.5xtr and will get one for my OXT, soon, too.

Went back to the stock catback today on my '12 wrx. It's eerily quiet now. I raamatted and ensolited the hell out of the car while I had a louder CBE and now it's just silly quiet. Didn't notice any loss of performance, just much less noise.

No damage hopefully. Did the laser pick up any movement?

Just seen a bunch of coolant on the ground and on my engine bay. Why does this always happen when I get a radiator flush at a shop. Happened on last 3 vehicles I've owned.

No. The car was parked. It hit the back of the trunk. She assumed it was pulled in all the way. Grrr👿

05-07 trim and found a 06 sti shift boot with the proper plastic bottom clip so it mounted up perfect in about 10 minutes!

Finished off my nameless exhaust this morning. I was not sure if i had to take that black heatshield off, so i didn't. I now have a small rattle every once in awhile because the exhaust sits so far up in the under carrage. Just need to order my downpipe and i will be done with the go fast parts.
