Who do you cruise with?

Hey guys, just wondering who you guys cruise with in terms of cars. Do most people you know drive subies too?

In my area there are very few subies, all my friends drive VWs. I am the odd man out in my group. Very often when we all get together I am the only non VW in the parking lot or driveway.

As A new subie owner I don't cruise with any subie drivers yet. Most of my friends are mustang and lightning guys.

Start a meet. I did about 20 of now meet every week. We have been meeting now for almost 2 years and become pretty close.

I drive a suby, then my buddys theres a dsm, a honda, a gti and some trucks. None of my friends drive the same cars

Usually no one bc I am almost thirty. But every once in a while the local subaru chapter meets up for something.

I usually cruise once a week with a couple of subies some 350z 370z g35 g37. Some of them pretty quick, built motors and trans etc. and then some more focused on styling, bagged lowered, and others.

I hear what your saying, my friends are split 50/50 half of them are more into styling and the other half is more performance focused.

An assload of Hondas

and not pretty ones...and I like Honda. A few are putting down some good numbers on various turbo setups...but most are pretty dumpy.

An assload of V8s...couple very fast Foxbodies (like low 9 quarters on "street" tires at 145ish), F-body cars anywhere from high 8's to low 12's.

A handful of quick DSM's. A friend recently went 10.4@130-something...drives it down to hangout. Another friend is shooting for mid 8's, but is having torque converter issues. A few Evos in the mix.

Very few Subarus come down. A good friend has an 06 Sti putting down around 440 whp. I'm at around 280

A random assortment of other cars.

Subaru is definitely a minority here.

No one usually, my best friend sold his 04 Si (stock) and bought a 2001 Ford ranger. Other friend's got an 07 2.5i but he get's embarassed when my car comes around because he couldn't afford a WRX. His cousin has a 3000GT in pretty much mint condition, it's not the VR4 but him and I have driven around a little bit and played with his Go-Pro or any one of his 1200 dollar cameras. Other than that I'm a lone wolf.

I usually cruise with subie groups from out of town cause nobody in my town has a wrx/STI and all of my friends have crap ass cars.

I cruise with an sti and two evos mostly. Occasionally a cobra or 2g dsm comes out to play with us.

foxbody is a 79-93 mustang, most commonly the 87-93. I think 94/95 were sn95. dsm are eclipses and talons. I can't remember the other model

in my local club we have about 50 people(pop 23,000...not much to do.)we have meets to show off new mods etc a couple times a month, theres only one other subie in the group, a 2.5rs. youngest being 17 and oldest mid 20's, its just fun to get together once in a while. yeah we all have jobs so we dont meet to often anymore but you learn alot. some of the regulars: 86 turbo'd e30 bmw , '00 audi s4, '05 rx8, to name a few of the top regulars...average regulars include ek civic, '01 a4, myself, n/a 300zx

They're extremely popular up here..and not just the turbo variety.
