Ok, I know I'm a newbie on the forums, and to the subaru world, but as a consumer, I think that this review is warranted.
First off, I had set my order in for a BELLMOUTH downpipe. I didn't know the difference btwn a Bellmouth vs Divorced, so I just went with what I deduced to be what I needed. I asked for an invoice via paypal, and I paid PROMPTLY. Well, shortly after, I get an email that the Bellmouths are being put on hold. So, after some emails back and forth (but without my authorization) a divorced DP was going to be sent my way. Ok, whatever.. after doing my research of "Bellmouth vs Divorced", I'm not going to start splitting hairs and stomping my feet. If I get a Divorced DP, then whatever.. this is a hobby of mine, and not something professional. I noticed since the 23rd of September that my name had been listed as SHIPPED. Last thursday, I asked for a tracking number, and all I got in response was, "Will check with Tsudo". That's been it. I responded after that just to touch base, and am getting no reply. Just wanted to say, that I'm very disappointed with the lack of service. Sure, this is a group buy, and the price is really good. But if a vendor is going to do a group buy at a discounted price, then their service shouldn't come as a comprimise. I'm not looking for a free ride here. I'm just at the point of disappointment as consumer. yes, I have all the emails... and going to resolution at paypal.. just for whatever it might take to get some sort of response.

I'm in the same boat as you.
I placed my order for a Bellmouth downpipe, and was told I would get a message with the tracking number when they got it. I waited a couple days before asking them when they would ship, I then got an odd reply stating that they would "double check" monday morning due to the fact that "some where shipped by a remote warehouse by tsudo performance". I replied saying no problem. They replied trying to get me to purchase another brand, appearing as if they weren't aware that i've already placed an order (they weren't). They apologized for forgetting about my order and assured me they would check with tsudo first thing in the morning, this was on monday. I have yet to see myself put on the groupbuy list or been sent my tracking info. Veeeery fishy if you ask me, especially from a new "vendor". |

I agree... something doesn't seem too add up with this group buy and/or the vendor.
I got a response in the form of a refund AFTER I had filed my dispute via Paypal. Their response was: "sorry i've been trying to get Tsudo to ship out the downpipe but there's an issue going on. i'll refund you. sorry for the inconvenience " But this was AFTER I had been listed as having shipped. Now, why couldn't the vendor communicate all this back? Absolutely not cool. I'm glad I'm out of the group buy with my money back. I would gladly pay more for a used DP instead. |
