Default Newb!

I'm a newb to subarus! I'm reading a little day by day about them. I've been stuck in the Honda scene ever since I started driving. Which is about 5 years now. But im currently, trying to sell my 2007 civic si to get a bugeye for a decent price with little to no mods. Maybe you guys no more than me and can help me out on where I should start off at? I don't have a plan on what I want to do when I get one. I just want a reliable subby to start off.

Welcome. Good luck man. Keep doing what you are doing and research. Then buy what you like and what you can afford. Think about insurance, gas mileage, money you want to spend, etc. dive right in = STOCK STi. Dipping the toes = bug eye or something you don't have to drop a lot of initial investment on but will give you a feel for it.

Thanks 6 lug. It's something new to me. So I don't want to jump right in since I'm use to the front wheel drive lol

^Really?

Okay...I'll bite. Go here and start reading:

As for the OP, just start looking around on Craigslist. There may be a few left. For the record, I loved my bugeye.

most important in buying used car is the previous owner. How did they care for the car? warm up before drive, cool down before shut off, oil change and what type, who did the mods, what was done and when. documentation, receipts.

age of the previous owner is not important.

and i luv my bug eye wagon, highly modded.

Thanks guys. I know what your talking about. If it has an exhaust/intake I'm not gonna sweat it. I've been looking around for a while and it's hard to find one near me lol I'm gonna have to drive 100+ miles for one.
