Default ? about Turbo upgrade

I own a 2007 Subaru Legacy. I will be installing header, uppipe, downpipe. I have a GT3076r BB laying around. It is a direct bolt on and I am looking to run factory boost. I called around to a few shops and they told me that I would need to upgrade the fuel system, to build the motor. My goal is to upgrade my exhaust to stage 2 and install this turbo for the quicker spools. I am not looking for large horse power gains just whatever gains I can make off the exhaust mods and the the bigger turbo.

Stay with the stock turbo. You need to do way more research about turbos to figure out how they work. Im too tired to explain more. Some else please chime in.

^that was helpful

If you want faster spool, keep your stock turbo. Replace the exhaust from the turbo back with a sound to your liking. Maybe replace the stock boost controller (not sure if the stock units are bad on those or not) and most importantly, get it tuned.

Bigger turbos take more to spool, its just physics.
