That is a classic CFB moment, and to make it all the more special my younger brother's first real game (Clemson doesn't count, he wasn't interested in football there).

New polls out just prove further prove the SEC bias!

During College Football Final last night they bashed FSU and the ACC, yt in the same breath jerked off and praised Spurrier and the SEC. Why?

Where is the report that a vaulted SEC defense, with SEC Speeeeeeeeeeeed, gave up 35? Why praise Carolina? Weren't they favored?

Also.... LSU, who has escaped Auburn, Towson, and lost to Florida is ranked 8th? UGA utterly embarrassed ranked 12????

No wonder we have had 6 straight sec national champions, all they do is beat each other and take each others place in the polls. Then you of course have ESPN funneling the nations best talent to the sec with mythical statements such as "SEC SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED", and over exposure........

It's sickening ....... Can you SEC folks spell "sickening" ........most of your football players can't

Can you ACC folks spell "National Champions"? Looks like that talk is done for this year, but notice that you can't spell it without SC.

I do feel like UF might have jumped a little too far, but I guess that's part of playing with the big boys...big wins in the SEC mean more for a reason.

But seriously, how can you defend the ACC? Dude, you have to admit that y'all are embarrassing so far this year. The season is far from over, but the ACC is already falling apart. The only bright spot is one of your potential future members (ND) looks like they have a decent team this year.

And just for S&G's, here's a SC player who can definitely spell sickening:

On the Saturday of the Missouri game, senior stand-out defensive end Devin Taylor was with his team winning their first home SEC game of the season in dominating fashion on national TV on CBS. The Thursday afternoon before the game? Devin Taylor was helping wire the CBS production crew's internet at the stadium.

At this point its Oregon and Alabama's to lose and WVU's chance to slip in if they run the table in the Big XII and one of those 2 slip up. The ****'s and Gators have to play each other plus another 2 or 3 teams capable of beating them so I don't see them in the picture anyway. FSU is the dark horse right now.

A SEC team will be in the title, whether they deserve it or not......shoot, maybe even two SEC teams will make it in.

Will do.

I was hoping we'd have a chance to face y'all in the championship this year, but alas, I don't see that happening.

No need to check my meds as facts don't lie Werner and Carradine are in the Top FBS stats check it out ! Carradine is tied for third with 7sacks and Werner has the same amount as Clowney for 5 th.Plus Werner is listed as one of the top 13 picks as of now for the draft.

Keep living in your fantasy world as you won't make it either $100 dollars on that right now ! Put your money where your trash talking is !

Meh, I wouldn't put money on it. If we can win the next 2 games, we'll talk.

But seriously, I don't think it's "trash talking" to claim that Clowney is the best DE in the country right now. It also wouldn't be trash talking to state that SC is playing better than FSU right now. I haven't really trash talked much, just stated facts. Honestly, I don't really care too much about FSU, other than hoping they beat Clemson every year.

Hey, Oregon State is now in the top ten with University of Oregon, who knew a bunch of super liberal hipster/hippie beavers and ducks would be as good on the gridiron as they are in say a pond?

Long way to go, but they are both fundamentally very talented and well coached teams and I would put the Ducks up against any team in the nation any day this season.

Ducks are averaging 86 snaps a game.
Alabama is averaging like 63.

If they both make it it will be an interesting contrast in offensive philosophy's and if the Bama defense isn't cardio training for that potential game now they will have serious problems in the second half.

It was expected for Clowney to be good e11ys as everybody wanted him , but Werner is as good as Clowney and most talking heads agree that he one of the top rated in the country. He has as many Sacks and I can guarantee TFL as Clowney. Also as most would say stars don't men crap as he was 2 star and only played organized football for 5 years total unlike Clowney who probably has played since peewee.

Clowney is #9 in the country with tackles for loss....Werner is #19, Carradine is #38. Clowney and Werner are tied with # of sacks.

I'm not arguing that Werner and Carradine aren't great players...because they are. I'm just saying that Clowney is better. Not sure why this is even a point of contention. Did you watch our game last night? Clowney probably single-handedly changed the outcome of 80-90% of UGA's offensive plays. He absolutely abused his blocker and made them look silly, and was in the backfield before they even handed the ball off most of the time. He's a frickin force of nature. In the words of Connor Shaw, thank God he's not on someone else's team.

My well thought out analysis of Oregon, who I was worried might be stopped by the Dawgs Josh Wilcox's complex defense.
That 10 yard TD by DAT - breaking down 3 defenders.

Wolf, I'm going to agree with you on this one: LSU should NOT be number 9. They have struggled enough between Auburn and Towson to move them much lower. I think 15th would have been a fair drop.

I think an Alabama vs. Oregon game at the end would be entertaining.

Ive seen him play and he his a good player not great yet ! He will be Julius Peppers great in another year as he hasn't grown into himself yet. I'm 45 yrs old e11ys and I've been going to College Football games since I was 5 years old. As I have said a plethora of times my Dad is a UF Alumni and has had season tickets for 30 years. Ive had FSU tickets for 17 years and have seen many many talented players in my life. Also no I didn't watch it as FSU was trying to play something called crappy football last night plus it was a blow out so didn't watch it.

Agreed. UF is too high. I think WV is better than UF, even though they have played an easier schedule. I do think UF is a top 10 team though, maybe 6-8. KState maybe ahead of UF too? Who knows. Time will tell.
