Finally got a hold of him.

He's decided that he is not going to give me a refund. So I will be filing in OC Superior Court on Monday and also filing a police report for fraud. Because that's basically what this is now.

Awesome.

I actually bought one from Josh and it works great. I only wish I would've told him black couplers instead of assuming they'd be black. Cutting the bumper sucked, and some of the holes didn't line up on the bumper beam, other than that it's worked great.

Kid didn't even bother showing up. So I have a judgment against him.

But he has become a vendor on NASIOC selling parts to people. BEWARE BUYERS!

He's selling as JonMotoring.

hey guys, looks like everything has been resolved.

just to get my two cents in there. the core that dude sold you in the first place looks exactly like the core i have for my 02 wrx.

he sold you a core from a wrong kit, right car... but wrong year. only by 5+ years... anybody can make that mistake... right? :/

Installed my fms fmic today. Great fitment. Only modification i needed was the usual bolt holes for replacement bumber beam. Even managed to keep the factory coolant overflow in place. Install took roughly 3-3.5 hours but i did a ton of reading before hand.

Besthaticouldo is correct. I switched from the cobb box to AEM for the front mount. Fits perfectly. I used the rubber trim from the aem heat shield for the the edges around the hole too so nothing rubs metal on metal.

FWIW, I ordered my kit through importimageracing. (I would have bought Perrin if I had the cash, but im budgeting so I don't kill my engine build funds) I expected slight fitment issues (I had to enlarge the intercooler mounting holes on the crash beam but other than that I had ZERO issues) I did cut my hose for the BPV shorter to avoid kinks and it's good to go. I love my kit and it made huge differences for me here in the florida sun.. 40-45 degree reduction in IAT in stand still traffic and its crusing IAT is now between +5-15 of ambient tempetures as opposed to +25-35.. sorry your experience was bad, not having instructions does however suck.

I'm curious where you are measuring IAT's to see a 40-45 degree drop by switching to a front mount intercooler?
