Is this a 2.5" or 3" projector? After unwiring the angel eye and three leds, wondering if it would be possible to cover up the three extra LED holes with a larger projector shroud. Hmmmm...

To answer a few questions .
Why can't you adjust the level on your lights? I can adjust mine just fine. Yes u can disable the three led lights by cutting the red wire that powers them on the back of the housing. Not sure about projector size but where there's a will there's a way lol. I'm sure it wouldn't be to hard to fab something up to make em look a little cleaner. UPDATE My lights are still goin strong, no leaks or micro cracks on the lenses after my initial reseal. I def reccomend using HIGH quality hid's with these, not the garbage on eBay. The light quality and beam pattern clarity will be night and day..no pun intended lol |

Kind of an old thread, but for whoever is dealing with this issue here is my story.
Bought these lights, seemed to be stuck in high beam, indicator was on when low beam was selected. When you selected high beam, the lights shut off. Tried for the life of me to aim these, but when they are stuck in high beam it was impossible. Contacted the ebay seller, 'sabersport', ( who I must say, customer service was absolutely fantastic). They told me the lights have high and low beams, ( working like a bi-xenon ) and the single projector will produce a high and low. We exchanged multiple emails as they had me trouble shoot by switching and checking wires. Nothing changed. So the ebay dealer said they got a donor wrx at their warehouse to try to recreate my issue. Turns out, something is terribly wrong with all the headlights they had. They are all stuck in high beam, from what they claimed was clearly faulty wiring. They had me return them as they dealt with their distributer. So anybody having similar problems aiming, or beams being off, too high or too low... its not you most likely...Its the lights. But if you can make them work, good luck! They were really high quality for the price, and they looked fantastic (minus the L.E.D's) *Also to confirm there is something wrong with these is they are no longer on ebay from any of the larger sellers who a few months back had dozens of listings of them...Something is definitely fishy there... |

$360 for these things!? Pfft.... you can get yourself QUALITY hid parts and put them in oem units and not have **** parts on your car that it sound like most of you would want to modify (ie: remove LEDs, halos) and spend more money doing so.
No thanks. |

It looks like they say eagle eyes on the bottom of the lens, but the eagle eye website doesn't have lights like these... hmmm. Trolling with some homemade retrofits maybe?

The rest of the light looks oem. Maybe we should prod 03boxer4 for some answers. :angrymob:
Edit- The cover over the turn signal bulb is amber in the oem lights... hmmm Last edited by bugeyetex; 10-17-2012 at 12:50 PM. |

those definitely look like FX-R projectors that were retrofited into the housing buy someone. you can't buy a complete plug n play kit of those. has to be done yourself, buy used ones from a member on here, or buy the kit and pay a company to do it for you.
