$4.21 or so for either Shell or Chevron 90 Octane up here in Alaska. You're welcome for our oil.

Is there a correct orientation for the key in the ignition or is is preference? I ask because I keep getting it back from service the way I would consider to be wrong. Apparently someone there thinks it right or they think its funny to mess with customers.

It might be preference or laziness. Hard to say. If it's put in with the keychain on top of the key, you get a slight decrease in dangling keys and other junk people put on their keychains. That's about the only thing I can see as an advantage (if that's what you're considering the wrong way)

Any of you guys running RCE "regular guys" springs on gtworx dampers? I'm very close to getting these springs and using them with the stocks struts until I can spend the money on gtworx. Anyone NOT like the ride/handling with this combo? And would anyone suggest getting the stockers re-valved to fit the RCE's better?

Hard to tell you whether to go with the GTWorx or revalve the stock dampers because I haven't tried both. I definitely wish I could take a ride in a car with dampers valved specific to the RCE blacks, however I would bet the difference in ride is subtle at best. In other words, if you'd be concerned about floating too much on a revalve, I don't think it'd be too soft for you. My advice would be to find someone close by who's running the GTWorx and go for a ride. It's honestly the only way to know. |

the only 08+ wrx/sti's that i have seen in my area are either sitting on stock suspension or bc br's. I'm going to have to be the test dummy for this product lol. but if i find someone with that set up i'd definitely ask for a ride. thanks for the advice though. Do you like the drop the springs gave you? is it somewhat noticable when parked next to a stock wrx?

I personally wouldn't want to go any lower which is why I didn't go with a coil setup. It's supposed to be 3/4" but I bet I'm much closer to 1" but keep in mind that the 11+ suspension is slightly different than 08-10. I definitely think the drop is noticeable compared to stock, particularly in the front. It's easy to pick out when I take it to the dealer for service.

That sounds ideal to how I want the springs to drop. Thanks again.
