Oh yeah! Thanks, CBB. I had a red flag in my brain that I was ignoring since I'm at work (making up for Friday when I was out selling the WRX and buying the BRZ). Will edit.

We have several people in our Chapter that do work or have worked for the local Subaru dealership. I don't know who you'd have to ask to have them look into your setting for you, but if you're cool with anyone just ask them to go grab the computer to have it done.

My fuel pump chirps intermittently...I really started it noticing last week, but my friend was telling me she thought she heard it back when I first got it. Regardless, if there's a TSB (I thought it was Toyota side only so far?) for the BRZ, I'll get it done eventually.

I have my STI lip sitting downstairs, I'm not sure if I want to put it on now or wait until after this (allegedly terrible) winter passes. The second piece of my Nameless exhaust came in last week, I'm waiting to see if I develop the P0019 CEL before I put it on. Still waiting on my Weds to ship from Japan too...I don't want to sink TOO much money into this car in case a hotted up STI version does come out, though I fear it's a bit late already.

I can totally understand the WRX/STi stigma your referring to. I hated that every meet i went to in the STi people would try to pick out flaws or find something wrong with it. Also if anything happened it was my driving. Never got that in the GTR. To many KIDS are getting them now and just rapping them left and right so it puts a bad name. Im also done with boosted cars for a while. as i told you before i am going to be getting a 09+ M3 so that will be a totally different game for me. I hope you enjoy the new ride and show some of these NEW Subaru guys how things are supposed to be done. You and Jive gonna step the BRZ game up.

Thanks for chiming in, cmiller! I'm glad you understand. Jive and I have been throwing ideas back and forth. It seems like we plan on hitting the scene from both coasts. We'll try to do ya proud, sir! I hope you get a really nice deal on an M3. Sickalicious.

I ordered the BRZ in April and got it in October, thus "6 Months Later...". Apparently some lesser dealerships STILL have not fulfilled their pre-orders that were placed in April, so some of those guys wound up getting a Scion FR-S instead because they couldn't wait or didn't want to shop around.

i get so much **** because of the way i modded my sti. people saying i'm not stanced enough, others saying of you ruined it. blah blah GET ****ED. its my car and i think its one of the most unique and un-trendy 2011 sti's. period. i modded it to be driven, not hard parked.

i can only hope to live up to your hype cmiller, so far teh brz forums are covered with newbs and peolpe thinking big mods are led lights and plasti dipped interior some good builds, lots of turbo stuff, but a lot of body kit fast and furious type stuff going on

i can't figure out wheels. its driving me nuts. but i have a good month or two to decide before i place an order so i can get them by spring.

Yeah im kinda moving out of the more power scene and into the more luxurious stuff i guess. I have always wanted a M3 since my dad got one. I know your STi has walked them as did mine but i still love them. I will be buying used. Under 30,000 miles tho. I will always be on here lurking and may even pick up another subaru one day. We will see i guess.

for creature comforts and sheer DD the m3 is ideal. and with a CPO warranty its really a no brainer. let some one buy the car and then watch the value plummet then buy it.

i'm going to have this brz for a long time....my honest goal is to have this car for a long time and make it a track only thing. graduate law school, settle down, 964 turbo, and a house. call it a day. im easy

I ordered a BRZ in March and never got it. It was due to arrive early August and never showed up. Dealership had a date for early September which changed to mid-November due to damage the vehicle endured during shipping. In the end they cancelled the order over disagreements with me and I bought one from Massachusetts. Never ordering a first year car again.

They're ugly, but they're temporary.

kyletakahero and Mavrik helped me install the LED reverse lights (PITA), puddle lights (not so bad), trunk light (fairly simple) and license plate lights (easiest of them all). Dome light should be in next week. Can't wait! Plus tint and autostart!
