which resonator would you have gone with? and why'd you choose a HP2? i wanna do my exhaust next, but i'm completely clueless on how to choose my parts LOL i'm planning on going to a muffler shop to custom as well

Idk probably something that isnt as efficient lol. I chose the HP2 because it was the best one from my research and a lot of people recommended it. Main reason though was because most people who installed it stated that it completely got rid of the raspyness which was my mine goal, however the HP2 acts as a resonator and a muffler so it quieted the exhaust tone quite a bit. I was the exact same way lol. What the shop did was just placed up a bunch of mufflers after they cut off the "cat back" portion of my exhaust and I just what I thought sounded the best. Not to bad for $350 installed
Overall I would just stick to 2.25" piping or 2.5" piping if you can and then find a good muffler (for loudness) and a decent resonator (for raspyness)

Lol, I'm thinking of just doing a muffler delete but not sure how raspy it would be; if any. How does the tsudo n1 sound?

It will be a bit raspy, and from what i've heard, is identical to the washer mod..

it sounds like "bwub bwub bwud BWAHHHHHHHHH". It has the boxer rumble on idle, but even with a little gas, it goes away with the EL's. But it sounds really good IMO.

only issue im having so far is that the way the hangers are made, on some bumps/potholes, the exhaust will move side to side and appears to be touching the heatshield time to time..

Quick question. Will sti rear sway bar and endlinks fit our cars or is it just the wrx? Goin to look at a sti stuff now and just thought of that.

Edit...just found out sway bar is off a 2010 Forrester. Still work?

I'll try to get a video of the sound. It sounds very aggressive and rumbly. I've had an outback with EL's, UEL's, straight pipes, flowmasters, and an N1 which every combo of header/exhaust and personally this is my favorite sound so far. It isn't nearly as exaggerated as a WRX with UEL's but it definitely is very rumbly.

Regarding exhaust... As much as I hate the way my N1 looks and as much as I hate how my N1 is melting my bumper. I LOVE the way my N1 sounds.

Yes, the rear suspension is the same across almost all current Subarus.

Since the N1 is 3", don't you lose some power? Or is it very negligible?

Youtube link sounds different, compared to real life.

I'd say just buy a used Tsudo N1. I've seen alot on i-club, and i got mine for $120. I have 4 exhaust and have spent $180 total for everything, due to being used alittle.

Also, dont get the UELs... They aren't CARB legal from my understanding.

You don't loose it, you just make the same power if not more, at a higher RPM.
People claim you 'loose power' because the shift in the power band is not ideal for daily driving. I never put a 3" on my car but drove a 08 OBS with 3" catless straight piped and it felt the same as my car.

Does putting a new headunit give you more horsepower? What about stickers?

...That is your answer.

This. You will feel your low end go away, due to the huge loss of backpressure on a N/A car, but your top end will gain as there will be less restriction on the flow of exhaust gasses leaving the exhaust. All that will change is how the power reacts per RPM.

Or you could just not give a ****.

But you'd probably want a tune for it which would be a PITA.

N-DSP. My car isn't very competitive in DSP as it sits now. But a friend of mine has won DSP with his '07 2.5i wagon, so with the right set-up, I think I can be competitive.

For a build sheet... Well... You can go here for short and sweet, or here for lulz. Pick your poison.
