Honeywell also makes the fuel and oil filters (as well as alot of the radars) for this, which is pushing....oh....about 100,000 horsepower.

which isn't saying **** if you've ever seen some of the parts the military uses. they use the Cheapest contract... not the best quality one.

id love to have the japanese tokio roki black oil filter.....

you can still find cases on ebay. but i dont need a dozen. i need one.

but now ill settle for the mississauga, ontario FRAM made blue subaru oil filter.

ive always used fram filters, and never had any problems.

Can't go wrong with OEM filters..they have the correct bypass valve setting.

Ok, all this talk, but where are the part numbers? What is the exact factory filter and part number from Subaru for us later model WRX's to use?

I believe all turbo models use the same filter

There's a whole series of part numbers for them, but they are the same filter.

Personally I just go the dealership with one of their web coupons and say I need filters and crush gaskets for a 2011 WRX.

My 2011 WRX came with a black Subaru filter. I only use the OEM replacement it is now blue. I have never had any oil filter issues ever on any of my Subarus of the past with the OEM filters.

Now my wifes 2012 2.0i came with a larger black filter and its replacement from dealer was still a black japan made filter. it is kinda cool that it is upside down on top of motor. super easy.
