Jimbo could you add some close-up shots of the end of each flare, where they drop towards the side skirts and the fenders? I want to see what i'm up against if i devise a way to bring them all the way down.

Not quite sure if this is what you wanted but...
Front

Rear

The rearmost corner is the one that bothers me the most. Even with the heat gun it's still difficult to get that small piece that juts out to follow the contour. I might end up cutting it off and continuing the radius of the arch all the way down.

I saw this thread the other day day and then was just looking at the new crosstrek in a magazine today and had a thought. I wonder if you could order the flares from the crosstrek online somewhere like subaru genuine parts (not up yet just checked) and use them on all 08+ impreza wrx & sti's. They have to be pretty similar in the door lines/arches ect so they may fit right up, or at least not need much trimming. Not to threadjack, just thought it might fit here.

Yeah mine were the no moulding ones. Serkan, the OP, was mounting similar ones (Jetta) on his sedan.

yes, wondering how these would fit on the wider sedan fenders? they are a significantly different shape than the wagon fenders so i'm not sure if theyd line up as smooth

Worse comes to worse, you could probably pull a set of these at the junkyard for cheap. I bought them new for about $63. Not the most expensive mod and worth buying just to mess around with.

I'm picking up a set of these now, lol.
Thank you guys for this awesome idea.

I'll try to post pics after installed.

The front flares fit really good for sedan's front and rear arches.

I will see if I can post some pics tonight.
