If you have 300 WHP and Torque you will take him with a good launch.

I've played around against a SRT Charger and Magnum before and low end goes to my STI but let's face it in the upper end there's no replacement for displacement and the hemi dosent hurt as well.

If he's modded at all, he's probably going to win. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that unless you get a perfect launch, he'll reel you in, and be passing you by the 1000ft mark.

OP, I really believe with your mods you should have no problem winning (if you have a clue how to drive). A 16GXT with EWG is a pretty nice setup.

well I'm trying to provoke him to race sooner but he keeps saying he's having problems with his car and needs to replace a bunch of parts and all this B.S. I am as excited as you guys and its worth the video. Don't worry I won't miss out on taking a video of this opportunity.

Slow out of the hole yes but if you've ever played around with one from 75-100s then you should know that they pack a punch while rolling and if they are modified that's even more of an issue.

I agree that he should be able to beat him at a drag race though.

And no replacement for displacement is true as long as you don't bring FI into it. How many Supras out there make ridiculous power on a 3.3? Liter. Even then look at the S2000. 240hp out if 2 liters. But then you have to look at the torque, or lack thereof. I dunno...
