Exclamation What color are the '04 stock OEM STi lights?

I'm going in for inspection again for the second time. Last time I got denied because my lights weren't "OEM". But everyone keeps telling me that the 2004 subaru STi comes with white HID lights stock.

I bought my car with a few exterior mods (lip, no wing, white HIDs (4300k I think). I'm honestly not sure if they are stock or not, but if they are it'll save me alot of trouble of having to install new bulbs just to pass inspection.

This is my car:

Are these the stock lights that come on the STi or are these modded?

Post a pic of the lights close up during the day with the car not going by at 80 mph and I can tell you whether they're stock or not.

If your headlight has factory HID ballasts connected to the back of it like in this picture: http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/at...000-x-750-.jpg

then they're factory STI HID headlights.

^^no problem

You could probably show them your owners manual to prove that the car comes with factory HID's. I think its in there somewhere.

Posting a photo of the cutoff (beam pattern when facing a wall, say 10 feet away) will help us. Clean the headlamps before doing it though.

If they're factory HIDs, it will say D2R on the bottom of the front clear plastic, right against the top of the bumper (without removing anything.)
If that makes any sense.
