so you bought this used. How do you know it wasn't stolen to begin with

Also, you blew your cover when you texted "its a police matter". You need to be schooled a bit more on sting operations

I was thinking the same, and to convince the cops that may not be tech savvy, you'd have to let them know that the MAC is a unique identifier.... like a serial number.

That said, is it worth it? I mean, its an Apple anyway. Instead, just buy some windows or linux
