I know you wanna do it, but I'm with scotty. Changing your suspension out every few months is gonna get old real quick.

That's the truth... but installing/removing spacers and getting an alignment is pretty simple when/if you think about it...

Having a spare suspension would be just as easy, but more expensive...

It's just a matter of what the OP wants..

We are here but to prvide options and opinion on those options...

thank you. I just bought a full swap coil over strut setup from a 2010 forester xt. Only takes about 45 minutes to swap all four corners.

You will not be able to just swap the forester coil assembly over and leave it at that. It will give you something like 4" of lift. This will pull your rear wheels forward because of the short trailing arm and likely into the wheel well. I don't think you want that much lift.

I saw this the other day. I wonder if the hatch has different mounting angles because my rears didn't pull forward like that.

the trailing arms are actually identical between the forester and impreza, the difference is the brackets/subframe spacers on the foz.

the easy fix for this problem is just getting foz struts with stock impreza springs.
