People like to ask if each one of my exhaust tips is its own separate pipe. I like to respond to that with "yeah sometimes" then I feed them some bullcrap about having switches and valves for each one until they either catch on or I feel bad and have to say "nah I'm just lying to you those are muffler tips.

My mom took my car and some lady asked her why she owns some crazy looking car. When she told her why the lady said "I figured some old lady wouldn't drive some fast car like that" my mom was offended all she's ever had were built cars now she feels old!

Was outside my buddies place yesterday and some random guy walked up complimenting my car and saying he wanted to get one and how much they cost, then went on to ask "what's the fastest you've ever taken it it? 200? 220?". Made me giggle

Read this thread prior to receiving the car and thought id never hear something that ridiculous but I was proven wrong on day one.
My neighbor who owns nothing but toyota screamed out,"now we can all line up!" I screamed back asking to repeat herself, only to hear what I suspected. "we all have toyotas, er should line our cars up!" I chuckled and kept washing my car.

01 rs coupe was mistaken for a camry. Lol.

I know I've brough it up before......but I still can't explain piston slap successfully to my friends. Atleast now, they remember I always warm it up from a cold start.....

......now if I could just get them to stop slamming my damn 2 lb doors, we would have some real progress.

I am in a demographic that results in most of my friends owning cars that are a bit older or are a bit worn (not ****ty cars, just used), and I just about have to cringe and grit my teeth every time they close my doors.

I was shocked the other day when opening a friend's Trans Am doors how freaking heavy they were

I have full coverage on 3 cars. $108 a month. 2 accidents, where both cars were totaled.

Coupe doors are heavy in general. When I had my 350z I would slam peoples door all the time simply because they were so light in compairson.

The exact opposite with S2000 doors. My friends would get out of it and freakin' SLAM the door because they were used to their heavy coupe doors.

Hahaha, you want heavy doors? Take a look at a Bentley Continental GT, they're 3.5 metric ****-tons each. Going back and forth from my car into my dads Bentley is just funny. I slam my doors and don't even get his shut.

My wife is guilty of slamming doors as well. She drives a crew cab silverado most of the time. One of these days I swear that sheis going to blow out my eardrums.

Yeah, I hate when I can't shut the doors to my Bently. All my friends in their Ferrari's laugh at me. They call me poor.

Haha this reminds of the kid on campus with the lambo. Parked in a handicap spot thinking it wouldn't get towed. Then it did and everyone took pictures and laughed cause he's cocky.

I had my car on ramps in my friends driveway yesterday, tweaking my rear endlinks and out the corner of my eye i see some scruffy older guy walked by maybe in his late 40s early 50s, walked down the block turning occassionally looking at me. He eventually came back standing at my feet (I was under the car) didn't pay attention to him, I could tell he was going to be awkward and I was hoping he would just walk away but he asked me, you fixing your flarfagating bracket? I stopped, sat up, and looked at him with the most dumbfound look on my face, my what sir? Your flarfagating bracket .... I pause for a second and just say yes so I can go back to work. So I get back under the car and he asks me another question. Those one of those WRXIs? I looked at him again and said yea it is and went back to work. He justs said very nice and walked off. I know it kind of sounds like i was an ass but I was under the car working and wasn't really in the mood to talk with a random guy I didn't know.
