Idk if you know but my sti was in a rear end collision. Was hit by a drunk drive on april 5th. Didnt get the car back till mid july. That entire experience pretty much ruined it. Not to mention after i got it back i saw thigs the bodyshop did that were just half assed.

Basucally i didnt want to keep paying for a car which wasnt perfect anymore in my eyes. You cant tell in pictures but in person there were some big flaws in my eyes.

DAN! i spoke to you when we were on the 48 hrs of tristate, i had the sti with 275's all around on it.

any way reason for 7/7.5' that's because that is the winter setup. the tires i'm running for winter are 205/50/17 gislaved nordfrost 5 snow tires. thus i need a wheel to fit these on so it's not stupid stretched.

however for summer i plan on coilovers and 18x9.5 +40 in 255/35 star specs. you think that will fit nicely?

and i also want your springs, is the ride bouncy or saggy butt like basically all other because i want to run stock struts/mach v springs for winter. and coils for summer.

and i'm clsoe with paisan, he keeps telling me i should buy the awesome's

and once these winter tires shred i might just get them for winter with a 235 snow tire.

Hey Jive,
Sad to see you get rid of the STi. It was really amazing what you did with it and will always remain one of my all time favorites. I noticed in a picture somewhere that there was a snow button on the BRZ? I know we'll have to wait for snow but it should be coming very soon. Just want to know what the button does to help the BRZ in the snow?

Wheels too big. Also, the correct tire size for the 19" wheel would be 255/30.

Well, I'm not going to tell you it's a soft ride, but neither are the stock springs. I like the way the car rides and handles.

That was a typo. Ment to say 18's.

Im gonna call him and see how much to install because this will be the only mod i cant do due to lack of a spring compressor in my possession.

You can take the factory struts apart without a spring compressor. Be careful, but they are not under that much tension.

Jive this is what I found, don't know if it helps you. I know that's not the offset you want but its the same size wheel and tire. and its on FR-S. I just got curious to see if it would fit and came across this.

Suspension: Tein FLEX
Wheels: WORK 11R 18x9.5 +30 Front and Rear
Tires: 255/35/18

no suspension

White Rota Grids in 18x9.5 +38 with 255/35/18 all around

Yupp. Turn in concepts runs the same setup with a +30. I just dont want as much poke. Want flush ness and not running a lot of camber to fit.

thats looks like **** because that looks to be on almost stock height and the front needs camber, BAD.

thats why i want +40 because well i want too look goo but most important i want functionality. same thing i did with my sti. was good enough for pictures and shows but even better to drive

and there is so little out for these cars since they are new that i'm just going to wait a bit until i'm 100% certain in my choices for parts. and then there are people that mod them and do it all wrong, as demonstrated above

i spend all night wrapping it all and this might have been one of the trickiest intalls I've ever had to do simply because this was my first time and wrapping curves and corners is incredibly hard. i now understand why JPM coach works stitches in the places they do. this isn't easy but i'm beyond happy with the results. i'll post some real pictures later, here are some cellphone snaps. i wrapped the silver dash pieces, the trim by the AC controls, the shifter surround, the steering wheel plastic, the circle vents, and also the door handles.
