I have owned this vehicle since December of 2011 from a local nasioc member, well 3k later the main bearing goes bye bye. So as a broke as student i decided just to do a small semi built motor just so i can drop in a little bigger turbo and have some fun auto crossing while finishing my degree. It took roughly three months for the motor build and shortly after install during break in period the transmission bearing decided to give out. This took another month in a half for the rebuild back to stock. Now after the rebuild of the transmission the car was finally dyno tuned with a tad bit bigger turbo and here are the results.

Thank for looking ![]()

Nice. How much of the car did you disassemble to pull that motor? It looks like front fenders are off in the pics.

i took the whole front end off so that way i wouldn't seem anything up cosmetically, but in all you only need to take the hood off and you can pull it out that way. I was just super paranoid

Looks nice! Seems to spool kinda late for a 18g 7cm though, probably better on the street. Nice numbers regardless!

Glad your happy with the car.
Yea the tune was very soft on the car, it was his request. I usually keep the spool slow on the 5psd 2.5 cars. Last edited by Junior2JZ; 10-14-2012 at 11:13 PM. |

Very happy with the work that you have done... Your reputation is truly as good as every person says it is. Great job once again, I will be coming back to you some time soon for e85 hopefully

E85 is a must! After driving my 08 wrx witha vf39 on E85 for the past 10 months I will never go back to pump gas with a subaru. The gains are just fantastic (especially the torque), the gas milage is a bit crappier, but for the price it still costs just about the same (if not a little cheaper) $/mile as pump gas, and I log regularly and find virtually no knock. ![]() |

understandable, but it's easy enough to have another map for 93. If I'm going to go on a long trip I'll just flash my 93 map, but living in chicago there are tons of e85 stations. I've got 3 that I use regularly (one by the house, on in between work and home, and one by work) so it's never an issue. I DD my car 60 miles a day to work and back without issue . |

Or you can just buy a tactrix cable for about $170 (cheaper if used). Not sure if Jr tuned you open source or not but I went this option because it's cheaper then the AP and can do anything an AP can do. |
