MUCH cleaner! Looks a bit strange seeing a huge LED Bulb in place of it but its soo much better for sure!

Anyways.... I couldn't wait to see them installed so I had to plug the lights in and share a few photos for you guys!

Great job man! I truly appreciate the hard work and attention to detail you put into your ride! Absolutely stunning. I have a java black 04 STi and wanted to wrap it for such a long time now. Matte grey maybe. She has lots of little rock chips and such from all the road time. Would those need to be repaired or will the vinyl hide small imperfections?

The problem with the rock chips is that if they are deep it will show through the vinyl i have one like that

Thanks alot man! The whole reason i made this thread was for people like you! I have always hated getting on forums and seeing threads that lack so much info and don't have pictures. Pictures are not only great for examples but pictures make EVERYTHING better! So i tried to do my best with this thread and including updates on progress and what not. I appreciate your input!
Danbolsom is correct. 3m Vinyl is only 3.5 mil thick without the backing and adhesive so when you wrap over it you will definitely see a crater for each one. Instead of having for example, the whole bumper repainted, Just get some touch up paint from the dealer and fill the rock chips yourself. You will have to put on multiple layers to fill it up but once it's filled take some wet sand paper to level it out then your good to go! I did this with one rock chip on my hood and one on my fender... Worked great and absolutely no way you can tell they are there. I highly suggest you give it a try because it will save you plenty of $$$.

Thanks for the info Beach. I have some barely noticeable dents from a hail storm my poor Scoob had to endure last year. I have been looking into how to fill certain things with bondo and it looks like something I can tackle. My main concern is actually wrapping the car though! Thanks for the inspiration Beach and great job!

Thanks guys! You are right Squidz... Matte white is super bright, much much more in person too! I've been thinking of the q300 because of how good it looks but i can't get over the sound of the nameless axle back!

Finished the front bumper... Just need to do the side vents and one more fog light cover and she's all done! Feels amazing

geez, hands down the sexiest sti ive ever seen, nice work man. I love the subtleties like how you wrapped the hellas, badges, and keychain haha. i have a white 05 wrx and my brother has been trying to convince me to wrap the roof gloss black and after seeing this i just might have to lol. especially since i have 5% all around too and am gonna get some sti bbs wheels and powdercoat those black. always like the white/black combo and you sir, have perfected it

Oh man I really hope Matte white plastidip is easier to keep clean than my matte white vinyl! I have one heck of a time maintaining it, but I honestly don't mind. I'm OCD to the max and it is clean 90% of the time.

The spoiler cannot be done without a seam. Just FYI... but if you do it right then you won't be able to tell unless your looking at it a foot away or closer!

Not sure if you bought an exhaust or not yet. But I live in Albuquerque as well and have a Nameless Axle back if you wanna hear what it sounds like in person on my 2011 STi sedan.

Actually i have a nameless aswell.... It's just powdercoated black so it never shows up in my pictures lol. Thanks though i appreciate it! Lets get together sometime for some pictures!
