I was looking to see if someone with an 06 STi could do me a favor and let me use their dccd control module to check if my dccd module is the one causing the dccd to not work. I have tested the entire abs and dccd system, except for swapping out the module that is located behind our glove box. it's 500+ to get a new one and 120 for the dealership to just inspect it -.-, so I'm trying to avoid the dealership inspection.

Used ones are affordable since they hard to swap.

Update on the issue: I was able to get a new dccd module and install it to test to see if it was the dccd module that was causing the issue. But it wasn't and my dccd still doesn't work properly. I'm hoping you guys can have some helpful feedback to fix this issue.
Symptoms: The only time the DCCD works is if it's 75+ degrees outside and the car has been bathing in the sun for a good hour or more. It will also start working if I run the car for about 30 minutes and let the engine heat up, otherwise it will not work properly. The codes that are constantly thrown when the DCCD is checked with the E-Brake method are 26, 33 and sometimes 37. What has been done to try to resolve the issue? - I have replaced the RR ABS Wheel speed sensor (The old ABS sensor was chipped at the tip.) - I have replaced the dccd module - I have tested the entire electrical system for the following issues "DCCD engine rpm signal system", "Brake Switch Circuit Range", and "Neutral position switch". Which are codes 26, 33, and 37. Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
