This forum is proven power bragging, not hypothetical bragging. Post up a slip/video.

They got it on video, backed up the mph 3 times et twice. Track prep went away after a clean up. Car made all 8 second passes 8.7/8.5/8.43/8.39/8.38 still on the same motor from the start on the season. Gotta have 20+ 8 second passes on it

Safe to say P&L builds a bad ass motor

Nice one Jr, that's just the result I was hoping for

Joking aside, to trap at 165 on an auto is pretty impressive, even more impressive that P+L have got that trans to hang together for so long, top job.

You sure you haven't swapped in a TH when I wasn't looking

We just ran out of time and track with the prep gone and the temp @ 45F dew falling on the track the last run was more like ice skating than driving. We still have some more left and hope we can get to a track with some warmer temps soon and get an 8.1 in before the end of the season.

What Paul and P&L have been able to achieve with a 4 cyl Subaru engine is amazing, I cannot thank all of the people @ P&L enough for their commitment, dedication and friendship over the years, it has really been fun along the way and I hope they have enjoyed it as much as I have. Special thanks goes to Paul, Jr, Pavo, Tyler, Kathy, Chris and others especially the spouses and significant others that have put up with the long late hours at the shop.

I started out in St Lucia with the idea of building a 4cy Subaru that would be fun on the roads like everyone as I added power it was never enough and to be honest the car still doesn't feel "fast enough"......... but it is getting there slowly

You come across as a complete DOUCHE , just because you worked for ESX big deal, do you even own a Subaru that can go 10"s LOL post a slip, you probably stripped the cars and washed them. Andy and I are good friends and have spent many long hours building engines together, you mistake friendly banter to push each other to go faster as something else please go away.

P&L really took their time to improve the base Rigoli Tranny, everyone has had problems with these boxes and as far as I know we are the only ones that have had results like they did . The extra mods they make to the box really yielded results and make for an incredible setup.

Truth! I'd had a customer that never could seem to get the thing to work completely right...for a long period of time at least.

sorry man, definetly not talking about the tubbed esx car as a real car, that was a SuBaru backed project FOR SURE. Im talking the sti look alike that julie drove, that car can and will beat that 8.3 record. Ali and team never tried playing the weight game since he was locked into an nhra class requiring a certain weight. I've heard thru some texts that that very car is going on a diet and will have some other things done to it im sure. ive seen it a couple times when it did come here to colorado (haha like five+ years ago) and it was a full weight street car with cali tags. in cali he did 8.9 in that car in 09'.......cant wait to see whats up..

^^^ lmfao. saying it can and will beat something without actually doing it is pointless.
My car should run low 9's with the modlist i have, but until i actually go out and run a pass i can't call it a 9 sec car until i do it!
Talk is cheap, and makes you look like an idiot if you don't back it up with facts or in this case timeslips
clearly the ESX car is lighter than stock, it has a sheetmetal floor and a lot of weight reduction mods in the bay.
