Those were done by Web. They are their 115 grind. Just send Web your cores and they"ll grind you a set.

I believe they are a hybrid of their 148e and the 115. refered to as 148e +3.
+ 3 degrees of duration on up side & +3 degrees of duration on the down side. Overall 6 additional degrees of duration. Info straight from the Lady at Web Cams. I have a set going for the 148e+3. I hope these top of my rebuild with a little spice! |

That's odd. Cobb told me a few years ago that their "mild" cam was the 148e and their "spicy" cam was the 115.

Just curious why no delta? My 200 grinds in my 1.8 seem fine.

Also, after looking at the specs, it would seem that if the Cobb Spicy's are indeed 148e's with increased duration, that would still make the 115's more aggresive.

Interesting. I've had my cams out repeatedly over the last 9 years since I got them from Cobb, including once to send one back to Web for some lobe repairs. Mine clearly have Web 115 stamped on them...

I am just going by what the web cam folks said. Does anyone have specs for the 115? They dont have them on their web sight. They do have the 148e specs. I have heard from two shops that the 148e's dont give much of anything for performance over stock. Web cams said the same. Without the lift and duration curves to compare of all (3) the 148e's, and the 148e +3's, and the 115's we really dont have much to compare. What they have stamped on them really does not tell you much. Unless you believe everything you read.

I posted the specs for both 148e and 115 in here:

Interesting graphs. I have seen these before. Are you saying the 2000 are the 115? I did not see any that were specifically 115's. If so, I have 2 questions. The web cams 148e and the 115 say they are hard welded and ground to the new profile. I also see the delta folks do not weld, they only grind.
How do you even compare the delta's to what Web does? It looks like the graphs show that the 148's have the highest lift for both exhaust and intake. It also looks like the 2000's have the longest duration. Seems to me that a combo / hybrid of 148 and the 2000 here would have more of both lift and duration as well as overlap. I hope to be able to report my results in a couple of weeks. Interesting dicussion Quote:

Delta offers a 148 cam which is quite confusing as Web has a 148E. These are entirely different cams. Here is the breakdown for the WEB cams... 148E: Duration @ 0.050" 208 degrees Intake Lift 0.410" Exhaust Lift 0.355" 115: Duration @ 0.050" 224 degrees Intake Lift 0.410" Exhaust Lift 0.350" |

Ok I got the engine back from TiC just before Christmas. It's broken in and I love the way it feels. The engine spins happy with a feeling of more power across the entire rev range. Will see at the first Auto Cross event of the season. No lifter noise. I believe a little more header / exhaust note. Sounds and runs very good. Thanks for the great job from Tony and Pat at TiC!
