Well im a little upset. A few days ago I have noticed a rough idle and when I take of from a stop ir bulks once and makes me stall sometimes. Now im sure it would be stalling all the time but my idle was raised to 900rpms by my tuner.

Yesterday the cel poped up. I did research and can tell you im very on top about changing oil and using quality stuff. I just ordered two OCV ( oil control valve) from fred bean and should have them tomorrow.

Anything else I should try? Ill try cleaning them today if I have time and will change oil and filter tomorrow too.

P.s. can a chronic boost leak couse this code or cause the valves to get stuck open or closed?

Thanks. I have a video of the idle buy need time to upload it of my phone

P.s.s. the car drives fine in gear.

Leaving work bump. Will not be able to clean them since it will be too hot under the hood when I get home and dark outside when it cools. Ow ya the car is fully modded and has 105k miles. The eng is a rally spec block with only 10k. Im sure the valve was not chaned with the block.

Both codes/sides usually indicate a low oil pressure condition.

On the SB did you change the oil pickup tube? Use a 11mm oil pump? What weight oil and filter brand are you using?

Well to my surprise the parts did not come. But i was able to take the OCVs out and cleaned them with WD40. They moved freely but the drivers one moved more free. I reset the ecu and fingers crossed. If you have FMIC piping the drivers one was harder to get to.

Ow and my oil pressure is dead on 100-80psi in gear and 35-25psi at idle or so

After putting everything back together the ecu is relearning but no cel yet. Took it out for a drive all day and so far nothing. Stalled 2 times but i think it has something to do with my boost leak. I tried fixing it today but i need to order a new 90 deg silicon hose.

So far so good. Took the car to work with no cel and smooth idle. Still crossing fingures. Cleaning them was super easy but had a question.

Does the little amount of wd40 on the valves after cleaning them bad for the eng oil?

Boost leak= not good. Could be causing the maf to get incorrect reading ( if you're not speed density) and could lead to rough idle

Ya i know but it only leaks under boost and i keep it out of boost. Been great on the ride back. Still stalls when take it out of gear sometimes but i remember it doing that everything i reset the ecu. Not tuned for a forged BPV so that might be causing the stall. Waiting on the new OCVs and going to change the battery to a small race battery, fix the leak, and get it retuned.
