(This won't translate to an STI, since it's nearly twice the power, but...)

I used to drive a 6 speed Mazda 3, before I picked up the WRX, and around town, with the taller gears and significantly greater torque, I can stay in the same gear for longer, using a wider range of the tach, and keep up or slow down with the flow of traffic as necessary.

In the 6 speed, I was always having to stay above the 2.75k range for power (not a problem for an STI) and was running out of gear in a matter of seconds when traffic started to speed up.

That all adds up to the WRX having much greater driveability than my 6 speed Mazda ever had. Once I go Stage II, I think the WRX will be even better in the low end, and make the 5 speed even better.

When days like this are your favorite...

And when you can do a full first and second gear pull and not break loose the tires in this weather.

How old are you...? I ask because your grammar is atrocious. I'm 18 and know how to spell properly. Never too late to learn, right?

You'll quickly go insane trying to grammar police this joint. And you know that's not atrocious compared to some of the tards stumbling around this site.

I always considered myself a good speller. Therefore I feel pretty confident when I say that I see absolutely no spelling errors in that post.

True! Unless... he was actually trying to spell "you're", and misspelled it.

So glad I rarely visit this forum after trading for an Evo X. It's like junior high in here. I come by for the laughs and there is no short of jokes in here. Lol.

This makes me cringe.

And there were a couple more errors ("to old" should have been "too old") but really, his post was perfectly acceptable.

There was actually two. "Your" should have been "You're." And it should have been "too" old... Instead of "to" old...

Also the beginning of your post should have been "There." T H E I R is possessive as in Their car, their house, their grammatical error, etc.

I think you misread the thread title. It's not "you know you're a ricer when"
