I did mke723.

Made a few changes to the car before hand. Changed the intercooler, fuel set up, brake pads (Pagid RS29) and turbo (Billet 30).

Car was running fantastic and doing pretty well until a sudden steam bath called a end to the day. Turns out it was a split silicone hose that had been rubbing and eventually split. Cheap fix so plenty to look forward to over the winter.

Few pics and vids

Drivers side cam cover buddy at the top.

Guessing as the system pressurized and got hot it weakened the cover and then the cam pulley tore through the cover and ate my hose

Quick easy fix thankfully.

that unfortunate. But its easy fix. now u have all winter to check and re-check all the little things, like hose clearances. thanks for the vids and update. Your car sounds like a beast. have you a chance to check out a set of sub frames from www.TSSFAB.us, lighter, stronger, custom options. give them a look. a few places sell them in their catalog , but for almost twice as much as you can get them direct.

Not yet mke

Handling set up will be looked at over the winter. A friend does have what you mentioned on his car so I'm kinda waiting from some feedback from him once his car is up and running.

Hey bud, absolutely amazing build. Great job building such a supreme car and not half a**ing anything. One question though, how long did the planing/research phase of this car take. Did you follow all of your plans or have to sacrifice any because of financial or difficult install obstacles? Good luck in your future events.

Thanks.

Research just involved what I wanted and what others that were at a similar spec were using. Things changed along the way and continue to change to this date. I've just swapped coilovers to KW v3 Clubsports. Changed turbo from a billet 35 to a 30. They are constantly a work in progress and motorsport never stands still for long so there are always improvements coming out. They are hard work and you sacrifice a lot but once in such a car it's like an ex girlfriend. You forget all the bad and remember only the good

There adrenaline rush is something else.

You live once, might as well follow the dream
