Check out Torqued Performance and/or Phatbotti tuning. I'm not sure if Eric (TP) has maps for the 2013 models yet, but a quick email to him should tell you what you need to know. As for Phatbotti, send them a PM on here, they will get back to you.

Phatbotti has a lot of happy customers here on NASIOC, a quick search will show you.

Torqued Performance has a lot of happy customers as well (including me). Eric responds quickly to emails and questions.

Mods:
Catless 3" DP
Nameless Performance axleback
Torqued Performance Stage 2 tune (via Tactrix)

Hope this helps!

You can go to the romraider forums and see if the definitions have been released. They'll be in the experimental section if they have been.

There are definitions on that site but not sure what to do to go about using them. Do I just plug in values from a 2012 stage one or two tune or??

I can't use my wideband until I install my downpipe.

Also ecuflash looks confusing. Way more than my old Hondata and Haltech.

If you can find a good starter stage 1 or 2 map you can copy and paste all the tables over to the factory map. Just remember that those are just starter maps and will most likely need fine tuning and adjustments and always make sure to understand what the table does before you go changing it.

Yep flashed stage 1 Friday. And loving it. Installing my k&n intake today and reflashing for that. Down pipe should come in about 2 weeks and then it will be stage 2 time.

Thats Awesome! I am still considering my options, I had a Ap for my 04 wrx and it was very easy. I am not sure about using my laptop and stuff. Was it user friendly? I am still doing my break-in and am about 720 miles on the clock.. Was it a very noticable difference?

Definitely very easy if u follow the included instructions.

Huge difference. Boost comes on quicker and stays longer. Tons smoother and of course better mpg

The provided MAP for the K&N intake looks to be doing great as well.

Jake (and anyone else running TP on their 13) please provide continued feedback with yout TP setup. I am ultimately going to run the TP stage 1+AEM intake map, assuming the 2013's respond as well as the 11's and 12's...

Just trying to decide wheter or not to just get the tactrix cable and maps now...or wait for COBB to release their AP with 2013 maps, and then buy the TP maps and flash via the AP...

Are there ANY worthwhile features that the AP has over a tactrix/laptop (data logging, revert to stock/flash erase ability, etc), that would make waiting (and paying) for the AP worthwhile???

Down pipe and midpipe go on Monday. And then will be stage 2. I'll keep you all posted.

I'm wondering all this myself, but for my '12. I'd rather save money with the cheaper option cuz I'm not going to be playing with it much, just flash and done.

I know this thread is about a month old but I have a TP stage 1 map on my '13 WRX and the difference from stock is incredible! Car feels night and day different from stock. Eric was very quick to respond to my emails as well as update my map once i sent him some log files (turn around time was measured in minutes, a couple hours TOPS )

With Eric's included instructions, it was very easy to understand- saving my factory image, reflashing, and data logging were all very easy! I highly recommend Eric and Torqued Performance.

Just getting ready to update this myself. I went stage 2 Wednesday night. Having some boost cut with my catless downpipe. Other than that runs awesome.

I have a K&N typhoon and OpenPort 2.0 in the mail. I am really looking forward to getting this thing up and running! Have you guys had any issues since the last post? Success stories?

No issues. To date. I do have some overboost cut when it is cold and in 4th or 5th gear but due to a catless downpipe.

Quick question. When you got the stage 1 from TP, you didn't have an intake, right? I was thinking about doing the stage 1 before I get an intake, then maybe getting one at a later date. Did they charge you to change the tune when you got the K&N?

When you buy any stage you get all the tunes for the intakes he lists. You get a whole package for $85

Very helpful thread, and section as a whole, thanks guys!

I just ordered my 13 WRX hatch and thought I was dead set on a Cobb AP but after hearing so much positive feedback regarding TP, I began looking into opensource and am happy to see that it's much cheaper and not very difficult. I'm a frugal DIY'er but will likely stick with TP maps to play it safe.
