Default OBX Throttle body spacer

I know that OBX is a knock off brand by trade, but as long as the dimensions on the spacer are correct, what else could be harmful about this? Just looking to rotate throttle body so I can have AC and reversed intake.

Why not just get the Full Race spacer set? I ordered mine from them for a reasonable price. It comes with aluminum TGV and TB spacers.

I had one made actually. I emailed FR and didn't get any response from them. This is the 2nd time I've emailed them with no response.

That's strange. They're normally very responsive. In fact, I cringe at their response time when asking for prices.

Is it just a simple TB spacer? how thick? Seems like a easy part for us to throw in the CNC.

Links to one?

I'd take one if it was phenolic. I don't have my car with me. I can go look later.

I messaged tom, this is the spacer that I drew up in AutoCAD. Over dimensioned, but the person I had make it wanted as many as possible. This was made by measuring a throttle body gasket.

Holy numbers everywhere batman. Good drawing, but a lot of scattered numbers.

Like I said, over dimensioned. When it was for me to take to a local machine shop there were about 1/2 those dimensions. But they wanted $225 to do it so...I didn't

225 seems about right for a one off part with coding. That being said, if i were to knock a bunch off out of some drops we have here it would be WAY under 100 bucks. My question is how thick do you guys want/need?

I ended up going with 3/8" which is 9.5mm.

I've seen 8mm work also. Once I get my spacer ill measure clearance to let you.know a bare minimum for rotation on my setup.

I haven't ground anything on alternator bracket and I think it will work right now as is. I have 8mm grimmspeed phenolic spacer on intake with gaskets each side. Stock 04 Sti intake manifold.

What became of this? Any reviews after use? Install trouble or info? lol... curious to see what, if any results came from use. This seems like a nice place for a gauge sender, or just something to take the stubbiness out of the IC/TB hose by reducing the gap.

For those of us who have PnP'd our TB and IC necks, I doubt there is gain.

Please post a review!

I didn't end up using it. I was using it to attempt to rotate my intake manifold while keeping the AC.
