WTF? why is it like this? it makes absolutely NO sense at all for the wrx to have a moon roof and the sti to not have one..

Sti is considered a "track car". Track cars dont use sunroofs lol

They offer two versions of the STi 4door for a reason. Track version, and track/luxury version

The 5 door only comes one way in the USA (due to lack of demand), and they made the right choice (imho) to skip the moonroof on that.

the footwell lights are only red to match the interior

Not true. When you order at the dealer there is an option for blue illumination kit. And I saw a few on lot wrx with blue illumination kit.

Man because of you and other on this forum I actually know more than my saleman does haha. I'm sure those dealers in cali are gonna get it this time having 15-20 wrx and 5-6 sti just sitting there in the lot. And I hope they have my car on one of those boats.

Placed my order on 9/24 for a base dgm wrx sedan no options. i wasnt getting any updates from my salesman so i contacted SoA to see the progress of my car. I was told that my order hadnt been placed because my salesman dropped the ball. how this could happen i dont know. Soa told me there was a car coming around nov 13 that was close to what i ordered and theyd give me 250 off purchase. was able to pick up a dgm sedan with sts cargo tray dimming mirror with home link shock sensor and wheel locks today. Anyways it all worked out. This is my first subaru and I love it. I've been lurking on this forum and thread for weeks and want to tell all of you to stay strong you never know what might happen.

I heard my order went in and the are waiting to hear from SNE on the status of if my order matches the current allotment on the boat. If it does I will get a VIN, if it does not they will issue me a VON. Kinda hoping it is part of the allotment, 5dr Limited DMG are few and far between. Put patience can be a virtue.

Why can't they just ship the car up instead of driving it? I believe it is recommended that the first 1000 miles of your new car should be a mix of city at highway in order to vary the RPM's as much as possible. It doesn't seem right that the first half of your breaking will pretty much be at a constant RPM on the highway..

I agree, I'll ask if they can put it on a trailer instead of driving it. If they can't or won't I think I'll pass on the car and just go through with the long wait of the factory order instead.

Yeah, I was wondering if my dealer would check to see if anything would be matched on the boat. However, I did get a VON the minute the order was put through. I think it's weird that people haven't gotten their VON's yet, especially ones that have been for waiting for weeks.

Hey folks,

I've been stalking the forum for a few months and decided to actively engage finally. On 9/15 I ordered a 5-door DGM WRX with nav and a few other options. I finally got a call from my dealer (Jones Subaru in MD) saying my car was in their "pipeline" but that they had no ETA. I've got the VON but haven't been able to get much more info. I didn't want to bother the salesman too much and SoA didn't have any additional info

I just sold my 05 Acura TL yesterday so it looks like my wife and I will be carpooling for a good while.

I've read a lot of posts on here but this thread is a tad long now so I apologize if I missed posts answering the following question. Has anyone who ordered a wrx hatch with nav around 9/15 heard any news yet.

I can't wait to get mine!
