Hey guys! I just made the trip in my 08 STi from Tampa, FL to Seattle, WA. Had a blast! The car was weighted down with everything I own inside but she still moved quick and fun. Cobb stage 2 and coilovers is all she has right now. Spotted a Red GR by the Locks the other day as well as a WRB GR WRX and a Plasma STi (GR) in Greenwood.
Glad to be back in the PNW. Made a few stops in ATL, Tenn, St. Louis, Denver, Wyoming, Boise but all in all the STI did an amazing job and I enjoyed my 7th road trip from one corner of the country to another. Looking forward to meeting everyone. And I see we have an Old Guy meet for us over 30. LOL ... Pretty funny that over 30 is old but lets have some fun! Adam

Thanks guys! It is completely opposite in every way but I love it out here. I made it in 48 hours too. Drive time that is.
Steve, I won't be at the meet tonight. Got a bit of a situation going on but I will be showing my face soon. |

Serge, I did the same a while back except an 05 Navigator with a uhaul trailer. That took forever because once we got over 60, the trailer would swing. Fun times!

my current wagon was imported from your old neck of the woods....I considered a flight and road trip but couldn't justify it.
Talk about being old, I realized I had twenty years on that poor kid trying to install his hellatones and just had to shake my head. |

Agreed! Those types of road trips are the best. I've driven from Tampa to Seattle/Seattle to Tampa 7 different times between '95 and '12. Tried to take different routes each time but all in all I had a blast!
Sorry I didn't make it out to the meet but I will be at the next one for sure. Thanks for the welcome everyone! -Adam |

Adam, I drove up from Orlando last summer. One of the best road trips I've ever taken! I hope I can find the time to do another cross-country trip. Welcome to the PNW! Maybe I'll see you at the next Old Man Meat if anybody remembers to schedule one...

Looking forward to it nate. And I agree, I'm looking at another cross-country trip again. Maybe to Detroit. But I really want to drive from here to Alaska one day.
