Alright so I just need a quick response from someone with a similar set-up.

I'll be running a set of 17x9 +30 Rota Torque with 255/40/17 Hankook Ventus v12 tires. I will also be lowered on Epic Engineering springs.

I plan on rolling my fenders, anything else I need? This is for a 2007 WRX sedan.

Sorry if you guys already answered a similar question, can't seem to find anything like this!

You'll probably need to pull the rear, and maybe a slight pull in front.

You'll need camber plates front and rear as well.....

Would a 17x9 +42 require a pull and camber plates as well?

Thanks man, really appreciate your help!

Well I got a killer deal on a lightly used set of 245/35 tires, so that's going to happen on my wagon. As soon as my wheels sell and I get the new set up and everything lined up, I'll keep everyone posted on how I get those to fit under a wagon fender.

17x9 +42 w/ 255's would fit with a roll all around if lowered.

You'd probably want to invest in some rear camber bolts as well ($30-50).

I'm looking to get axis xcite 18 inch rims with red accents.

Offset: 45mm
Backspacing: 6.22"
Bolt Pattern: 5-100
Rec. Tire Size:225/40-18
Weight: 21.4lbs.

I'm on a stock setup but will be lowering it soon. Would this call for a pull?

It recommends 225mm width but what are the differences of going wider? Also when it comes to spacers what would make my car look much wider?

you haven't listed a width so we can't tell you what else will fit on the wheel.

chances are with an offset that high, it probably wont require any fender mods but again, depends on the width.

spacers dont make your car look wider, but can cause your wheels to rub without appropriate fender mods.

there is a lot of grey area in your post without getting all the details.

Sorry it's 18 x 8 and I didn't reread my post cuz my phone was dying. What gives the car a wider look then?

You would need a roll in the rear at the most with an 18x8 +45. If you want more "flush" you'll need a lower offset (+35-38) but it will require a roll and some negative camber. I'm assuming from your wheel selection that you're on a budget, otherwise look into an 18x8.5 or 18x9 in the +38 range for a flush look.

And with that kind of offset on an 8" wide wheel you'll put extra stress on the wheel bearings, but this isn't the thread for that debate.

I'm not necessarily on a budget. Who can even budget when it comes to their Subie. I'm waiting until spring/summer to even buy these but I like to plan ahead. Any suggestions for black rims with those specifications. I'm more into the more spoke design then say a 5 spoke design.

Kind of the opposite, but I have a set of white Rays Gramlights for sale with a split 6 spoke design. I think the black on white would be hot, but I may be biased.

Depending on your budget, RavSpec has the sexiest JDM wheels out there, but they start around $1500 for a set of 4 and run up into the $3k+ range. Otherwise Rota makes decent replicas of a lot of the popular designs.

Where can you buys these in the size I would need. Tire rack blows and doesn't even have half the brands I see on this forum.

I see that wheel dude has a selection. Anyone got an opinion on what would look good with obsidian black sedan. Gold, flat black or...

Check the vendor classifieds here. Wheeldude is the place to go for Rotas, you can get any number of styles in a wide variety of sizes. RavSpec (also a vendor here) is the go to guy for the JDM wheels (Rays, Advan, Work, etc).

I was looking at rota rims on wheel dude but most 18x8.5 have 44mm offset or more. For the 18x9 they have 40mm offset. And still i see 18x9.5 with 35.

I really like the look of the 18x9.5 Rota DPT or Rota SVN or Rota G forces in flat black or gold but what modifications would be necessary along with other parts to make this work on my car?

I really appreciate your input on this!

I'm not sure what the fitment requirements are on a GR WRX. But I would imagine all of those would fit with limited modification.

A little negative camber and a fender roll should probably work out depending on your tire choice.

Depends on the tread depth. Subaru calls for less than a 2/32" variance to keep your diffs happy.

Will 15" wheels with 195/65/15 blizzak from a 1999 2.5rs fit on my 2013 wrx sedan? I know the bolt pattern is 5x100 which is the correct pattern, just want to make sure the tire size will be ok. Thanks.

if it fits over the brake pads you should be fine. but i wouldn't go with 15's on your 13' sedan. take the safe route of going with 16's heck i'm going with 17's on my hatch

It's just for a winter setup. Found a guy on CL, and everything is in good condition for cheap. Don't care what it looks like for the winter. Lol.

Nope. Tire size is fine, but that's not the problem.

They won't clear your brakes.

make sure tires arent on a RWD also. FYI be safe dude you dont want to ruin your car because those tires were on a RWD and Tire depth dont match. you'll end up wearing whichever one out first before the season is over or up
