from 05 in fact

the 05-07 STI REARS will bolt up, but not the FRONTS... 07 non-STI struts will bolt up, you may not get the camber #s you expect with ANY GD sedan struts on the GG wagon

Just a general note here - I realize this thread has become a bit crufty, but it seems like people are not finding the 1st few posts where most of these questions are answered vehicle by vehicle - please folks flip back to p1 and have a read through before posting 'new' questions

Personally it's not that I don't like answering these questions, it's just hard to keep all the year / model facts straight - imo Andrew did a great job of compiling all the info in one place - when folks don't use it we end up like this where a simple Q ends up with 3 or 4 followups / clarifications.

Please and thank you

FWD models from 93 through 95 take a different rear strut AND SPRING!! Subaru dealer tells me they are specific to the FWD models.

also want to put rear 05- 06 sti springs
from what i understand i need different top hats
(90-91 lego?) or 05-06 sti? or maybe some other sti years?
...i don't mind drilling a few holes

I've searched all over and can't find the answer to my question. I've found a V5 V6 STi rear sway bar on eBay but I can't find out what diameter the bar is. Anybody on here who can help me?

Hey guys,

Reading through this thread as well as a couple others its still not 100% clear to me...

Will an 09 STI rear sway & end links fit on my 10 OBS?

Any info would help.

Thanks!

Rear should be. Front needs modifications.

Front OBS and rear STI is a nice combo IMHO.

other than maybe an increase in NVH, is there a direct functional cross of an STi or WRX rear bushing for a front lower control arm on a 2003 H6 (Legacy) Outback ?

part numbers or link?

fluid-filled OEM is over $80 - I see some STi parts are only $49 or so.

thanx (difficult to search thread due to Outback sport)

I have a 2006 WRX wagon. Wondering the interchangeability of the front knuckles. I recently cracked the pinch bolt section trying to get a ball joint out and need to replace it.

I want to double check so I can give people a straight answer, as I'm having trouble finding one. I want to sell my coil-overs and just need to confirm what else they will fit. They're for a 2011 WRX hatch, I see that they will not work with STis and LGTs, but will they fit all the older '08+ WRXs? And I'm assuming sedans are the same since no one mentions a difference.

They'll fit all 2008+ WRX, sedan and hatch.

I have a new problem involving an issue getting my insurance company to cover 'hidden/improperly repaired' damage relating to a wreck I had in 2011.

wondering if anyone could get me a measurement of an 06 WRX WAGON front stabilzer bar. from end of arm to end of arm. (pleas not if measuring inside or outside os arms.

My car has a bent arm on the side i wrecked and i discovered it when i noticed a broken drop line, bought replacements, and was trying to install them. seems like the arm is pushed inboard about 3/4" inch. Evidently some tech managed to force the new resin drop link insurance paid for onto the bent sway bar. It broke. Insurance is, at present, claiming it's new damage and won't cover it even though 2 guys at the collision place agree with me.

anyway, sorry for the novel but hope that explains the request.

02 wagon bar: 106cm or 41 3/4". Outside to outside.
Should be the same 02-07.

Edit: front bar.

04 STI will "sort of" fit 02-07 WRX. It's a bit too long.

They do not fit 09 WRX at all.

Default Ohlins Sportlines on GC8

I am unsure if this is where to ask this question but I have the opportunity to get Ohlins Sportlines made for a 02-07 wrx (5x100) fitment for my 2000 subaru. Aside from having to get new top hats, will there be any other problems with these for fitment (strut length?)? The car had RCE t2s before without any fitment issues.

Thanks in advance!

i see that all o8+ wrx 2.5i and outback sport Struts + Shocks are interchangeable.

but i also read some posts that say 11 wrx struts will not fit 11 2.5i due to the widebody on the wrx, is this incorrect??? or like the first statement, all 08+ shocks/struts are interchangeable

thanks in advance
