v6 sti swap?
i have a 03 wrx and am wondering how well all the subaru parts realy fit together? i was wondering if you could drop a v6 sti motor in my 03 wrx and be able to hook up all my wireing to it and basicly just use the block and heads. would my valve covers bolt up? stock wrx cams & springs fit?
it just seems like a cheep way to get a forged internals. thanks shane

Also the sti doens't have forged internals... You need to do alot more research if you plan on doing an engine swap.

V6 eh? You cant directly drop in an sti motor without changing wiring/computer. You can however use a 2.5L block with your 2.0L heads and not change any wiring. Its called a hybrid setup and you should check out the built motors subforum |

what i am asking can i put the version 6 longblock in my car and use my stock valve covers and coils and all the other usdm parts?
