Hello everyone, my name is Tyler, I'm 21 years old, I'm from York/Hanover PA and this is my journal for my baby. This is my second WRX, I had an 04 JBP for about two years, but I didn't really love the black. It just wasn't for me, and always envied those with aspen white cars, so on November 25, 2011 my father and I flew out to St. Louis to pick up this car and drive it home. It's an 02 WRX with 35k original miles on it. So far, I've switched out the Autospeed twin tip axleback/HKS mid pipe/DP for a full Invidia N1 street turboback exhaust with DEI heat wrap on the DP, replaced a non-functional MadDad oil pressure gauge for a Prosport Halo series gauge, and just finished a full 05 STi rear bumper swap with flares and tail lights. My mods for the near future are an ATI triple gauge pod, Prosport wideband, and hopefully an EWG setup and new tune. Huge thanks to Import Image Racing for the great service and pricing for the new parts!

Mods to date:
Invidia N1 street turboback exhaust, heat wrapped DP
Grimmspeed up pipe with EWG block off (for now)

I'm actually very fortunate because my parents bought my first WRX for me and when I sold it, I only had to pay $100 more for this one, and I pay for gas and mods since I'm I'm college full time and play DIII lacrosse. Like I said, I'm very lucky and grateful that my parents can do this for me. However, I work two jobs in the summer and one of them is wall panelization from 6:30am-3pm and a few days a week I also work at the YMCA. I did buy my 95 Civic hatch DD on my own though.

I'll take some next time I'm home and have the cover off it. I did spend almost 8 hours cleaning it one night so I might as well show it off

Yeah I'm not big on them either. They came on the car. I would love to trade for a set of EDM/JDM ones plus cash or even a nice set of modded stockers. I don't think they go with the new bumper/flares well but that's lower on my list of things I would like to do.

Quick update for y'all, I finally got done with some oil system upgrades after a few months of not driving her (thanks college). I upgraded to an 06 STi oil pan, dipstick and pickup tube, Killer B baffle plate, Group N motor mounts, Grimmspeed uppipe and EWG block off plate and switched to Amsoil 10-30. Hopefully there will be a tune in the near future to make use of this nice Tial EWG I've been staring at for far too long, still in its box..

Thanks Matt! Oh, and I got rid of those UK's, added these stockers. Needed some cleaning up due to haze, but I like them more.

Well, today marks the one year anniversary of purchasing my car!! Here are the results of the tune at CBRD last week. I told Chad I wasn't looking to make any power records, I just wanted a solid reliable tune with comfortable drivability and an overall fun weekend/fair weather car. My expectations were achieved to say the least! Huge thanks to the whole crew over there, Chad, Mark and Brent have become great friends over the past couple years.

Facility: CBRD Speedfactory
Type of dyno: Mustang
Temperature: 55-60 degrees
Baseline for stock: I think a stock STi reads around 220-230? Could be wrong.
Boost: 20 PSI tapering to 16 PSI
Fuel: 93 Octane
