Very true lol. I only had 190 miles on it at the time. I was in my way to Fairbanks when I saw y'all. I'm trying to get it broken in ASAP

Had the Galaxy Blue BRZ Limited pass in front of my at Tudor and Boniface. It was definitely a younger guy driving it.

I also exchanged looks with several GD STI that had dark tint while I was just cruising today.

Chano had posted some pics of the new Crosstreck's that are out there. If anyone on the forum has one I am really looking for some information and feedback on them. I am possibly going to be looking at getting one in the near future and continental doesn't have any in.

Also CVT versus the manual tranny? Anyone?! This may need to be started in a new thread or just message me.
Thanks!

You're so OT and still misspelling it! Crosstrek.

I drove a CVT 2012 Impreza. It's a high-revver, so you can't expect it to perform like a standard auto. It's weird when you expect it to jolt to switch gears and it doesn't. When you lay on it, it feels like a turbo spooling infinitely. It's kinda cool, I think.

People say it's noisy, but quieter than other CVTs from other manufacturers. I was fine with it. I play my music loud or have the windows down to enjoy fresh air and sounds.

To sum up why a Crosstrek isn't an Impreza Sport:

Quote:
Crosstrek has a shorter wheelbase, wider track, raised suspension, revised suspension geometry, revised manual transmission ratios, larger radiator, reinforced chassis, more sound deadening, flat under body panels, larger brakes, larger gas tank... and more. That's in edition to the cosmetic differences.

Apologize about the mispelling. Auto correct was doing it to me. CROSSTREK! And we're all good

Lol that would defeat the point of a road trip, I would just be starring in the mirror the whole time wishing I was driving it instead. Sorry you're not the only one anymore.

Good grief. Can't fart in this town without someone spotting me.

underground is helping me put my car back to stock, yeah, that's the ticket.
