I'll be back this year, with my wife and her 2001 LLBean Outback! I'd prefer to bring my little SF5 Forester again, but the wife isn't too keen on driving the 5-speed, and we plan to share driving duties. I've been attending this event since 2008 (I missed last year, though) and I've had a blast each and every time. The organizers, the venues, the sponsors, and even the attendees all work hard to make this weekend chock full of fun. Don't miss it!

Definitely happy you guys are heading back up this way. I think I'm going to try to take part this year if I'm still on the East Coast.

to register it is a minimum of a $100 donation to ACS. fuel cost? the trip should be about 8-900 miles from the start to closing dinner plus your mileage to and from the event. food? depends on how much you eat. |

Ok, I was reading it on my phone before and things are much clearer now that I'm on my PC. I noticed that there is a breakfast an NJMP, but I'm unclear as to when we would be anywhere near there. I'm going to start finding sponsors tommorow or tues (gotta install a new clutch/turbo tommorow) This sounds like a lot of fun, I'm excited to go.

Pompton Sport Center would also like to sponsor again this year. Would guys be more interested in a race helmet or go pro camera?

honestly im not sure, the 48hrs staff has 2 people in charge of sponsors for raffle prizes.
i hope they mean donors and not sponsors. all you need to do is collect $100 in donations, deposit that money into your bank account and then pay (donate) $100 to ACS thru our page, then you can come on the trip. you would also need hotel, food and fuel money. ted 48hrs charity/donation chairman |

My guess is that people are referring to donors as sponsors. Essentially personally sponsoring them. $100 is the MINIMUM, the more money you raise the more raffle tickets you can get. Donors can donate on your behalf and then it counts towards your total.
