So... Explorer gets my vote, bases on functionality alone.
To be honest would rather keep family and dog out of it as they have a tendency to destroy what ever they touch

LOL spoken by a true family man ;-)

It's so true though >_>

When and if I have kids there will be no goldfish crackers or gushers allowed in the car...

Ever.

Something I've been thinking about for when I have kids, is I currently have a car seat cover for the dog. You know, keep hair off and keep seat free of claw marks. Dont see why couldn't also be a "kid cover" protecting the seat and floor (with its lil floor cover flaps) from dirty shoes, goldfishies and gummie bears.

Rubber floor mats and leather seats. Also keep cleaning supplies in the car for emergency spills or worst.

I say go with the Taurus. I have had most of those vehicles come into my shop, and I have to say the Taurus is the most passenger/tall person(i'am 6'-3")/luggage friendly. Pretty darn comfy as well.

When we had little kids, gushers and goldfish would have been welcome alternatives to the various substances and fluids we dealt with. Indigestion issues, milk products, sticky soda, and so on.

You'll do fine. It just probably won't be according to plan.

But kids are, beyond a doubt, the best things in life.

LEt's be honest where the problem Lies (regardless who is in it)... CARS NEED TO BE CLEANED OCCASSIONALLY!!!

Of what you have been offered I would go Explorer #1, Taurus #2

I voted for the Explorer. I think you would miss having the utility if you got a car. Second choice would be Fusion non-hybrid.

I still think the car should be the Fusion. Because, it can fly!

Taurus for SHO...lol

I would get the Taurus, they are quite nice and have a good feature set. Would be nice if you could sneak in the turbo motor version...you know they have some potential...

Have you compared insurance costs? Not sure if that plays here.

Surprised with this group that the titanium isn't getting more votes.

Rusty took possession of theirs today too. Shannon is driving it and he is chasing her in the UHAUL.

Makes sense for an Alaska vehicle. Especially in the areas you spend much of your time.
