Default 245 or 255 on RC-T4+48

I have a 2006 sti on RCE Yellows and Feal Tarmac Struts. I just bought some Eneki RC-T4 in 17X8.5 in +48 offset. I figure that I can fit a 245/45/17 on the wheels no problem without any fender work. I really want to go with the a 255/40/17. Any experience fitting these tires with similar setup.

Think these will fit without any work?

I heard there a fitment guru T3Clap that gives fitment advice for a small fee any experience this guy?

You will need to trim the rears. What brand/model tires are you planning on?

Neither of those tires are that good. Kind of old designs. Look at star specs or rs-3s if you're looking for a UHP summer.

with 255 and that offset youll need to grind the rears just a little to prevent rubbing. I had 245s with the same wheel size, It looked and fit great!

For tires check out the nitto NT-05. They were pretty awesome summer tires, but they only lasted about one summer (15-18k miles).

Edit* tehclap is amazing, i think he has his own website, if you search his name and look at his threads/posts you should be able to find it.
