I have stoptechs 355 kit on my racecar and they are way better then the stock brembos (for track use). When i DD the car the stock brembos were fine but for track use they suck. Can't go wrong buying the stoptechs if price is not and issue and if they will fit.

Hey everyone... Just wondering if there are any "licensed" contractors on here, or if anyone could recommend one? Specifically for some repairs to the structure of a raised outdoor deck.
Thanks. |

$300 in race pads to clean up $80 in rotors sounds like a great plan.

Edit: Maybe the $80 rotors might be part of the problem too... |

Okay. So who here has race pads? Oh right, that's nobody, because none of you bring your Subaru to the track (not that I blame you, I wouldn't either).
So your price of admission is still $300. Also, I'd love to hear how $80 rotors perform worse, given that you say that pad deposits and not rotor warp is the primary cause of problems. |

Anyone have a set of 5x100 Impreza wheels for sale?
How about 16" snow tires? Jason, you plan to use the ones you have this year? |

Eff you Bettner! There, stopped this madness...
We think that's a ground from the ignition coils. No idea what caused that. Maybe the previous owner of Joe's car put a wrong fuse in? Still, I've never seen or heard of that happening! German cars, maybe. Japanese? OMFGBBQ! |

Here's the weird part. The car still runs and drives fine in open loop with rich-ish AFRs. Just sucks near stoich. Slight stumbles, slight misfires, fluctuating battery voltage as reported by the ECU. That pin goes to the same wire from another pin on that plug. Pin 26 and Pin 6 of B137. Pin 6 is the one that's fried.

Hawk HPS pads and blank centric rotors here. Stops well, but they dust pretty bad.

I was running the dba 4000 rotors and the hawk hp plus pads on the street. They were loud and dusty but i thought they were the best setup i ran.
Cousin kenny is running the hp plus on his virgin beauty and his mazda 6. They seem to work well for him, he goes through brakes pretty quickly. |

I felt like the HPS pads lost their bite about halfway through. I mostly ran EBC reds which were more consistent throughout the lifespan but weren't as bitey when new. Way less dust and noise.

Speaking of changing brake pads.....don't forget to change your timing components! We found this beauty today when doing head gaskets on an 04 sti.

A few months ago I had asked what one can do with a 'software defined radio'. Well, here's one thing you can do...
