09 wrx banjo bolt screen?

does the 09 wrx have a screen in the oil feed banjo bolt? i was told i am supposed to clean this every other oil change and i did my oil change today and i took out the banjo bolt, but i could not tell if it had a screen in there or not so i cleaned it out at least but i did not replace any screen.

who told you that? also, how much searching did you do about this topic?

The screen is in the banjo bolt on the passenger side head feeding to the turbo, I'm not sure about cleaning that often I just completely removed mine.

some dude at the subie dealership. one of the techs. i didn't do much searching...don't have much time for that, i usually have time to post a topic and then check it every few hours.

that's the one i checked, but i could not see anything in there.

i didn't see anything like that in my banjo bolt, that pic on your link looks bigger than my banjo bolt alone, i can't imagine that filter fitting in it.
