finally made some headway in swapping out my lateral links and trailing arms. had to cut every bolt, and then heat/smash the stubs out. bought new hardware that wasn't included with the links. and now i mostly have the one side i've been working on done.

Over the past few days, I installed my new turbo (Blouch 2.5XTR), rotated my throttle body (necessary to fit the turbo with the 2.5i intake manifold), increased my MAF housing size from 65mm to 73mm, and re-wired my fuel pump for higher/constant voltage. E-tuning begins tomorrow!

Found a brand new snap on HVLP spray gun in my garage from 94.
Think I'm going to have to hunt down some paint to break it in.

let see, i smashed my finger up pretty good when i missed a bolt with my trust BFH. and realised the big ass bolts i bought are slightly too small, so i'll have to go to subaru for some $50 bolts....

Had a radiator hose fixed and fresh coolant put in. Would have done it myself but finding a place in this town that would take the waste would be a pita.

Finally got tuned for meth, learned my mixture is an utter failure, got tuned for straight meth, and drove home with an extra 90 hp and 50 tq.

Started tuning but ran into an issue with the AEM wideband logging cable (busted finger motorsports). The wideband COM port isn't an option in RomRaider logger, because windows isn't properly recognizing the cable. I supposedly have the right driver but windows won't fully recognize the cable (yellow exclamation point next to it in Windows Device Manager). Anyone here ever dealt with this issue?

I have not dealt with the logging cable before but usually the yellow exclamation point is a problem with the driver. uninstall and reinstall it. Make sure you select the right one for your version of windows.

houston: took my car into the body shop by underground graphics to get a dent fixed and painted. looks brand new! they have my full trust!

I'm using the only Windows driver available for the cable. Supposedly a lot of the Busted Finger cables just flat-out don't work. Thankfully my logging netbook has a serial port, so I'm just going to try logging straight to the serial port and not messing with the USB cable at all. Cross your fingers for me!
