I have an 04 sti with an AEM v2 ems and I was wondering is it possible to integrate a flex fuel sensor? I searched on the aem forum and here to no avail... anyone with ideas?

no. but a PROEFI can, 100% true flexfuel, automatically adjusts the map to the % of ethanol. not just a map switch. too bad it is not possible (well it is but it requires a LOT of work) on our cars.

They are also working on it on the opensource side. So many timing maps in the Stock ECU's that they will be able to wire up the sensor over the next couple months from what im reading.

Aem will have a new patch for the Series 2 early next year. It will give you your flex fuel support.
http://forum.aempower.com/forum/inde...c,29417.0.html There you can use egt, or ait inputs because they are 0-5v, and jerry rig in some stuff, if you want ti right away. But I would just wait for the patch. |
