[quote] Our Kosei K1 TS has two valve stems and many customers ask why. They are located 180 degrees from each other. In racing, many teams use nitrogen. Nitrogen has larger molecules than ambient air and is less likely to "seep" through the pores in all tires. It also is less sensitive to temperature so the psi stays more even as the tire heats and cools with track use. The two valve stems help in exchanging ambient air for Nitrogen. One stem is used to bleed off the ambient air while nitrogen is put in the opposite stem. It's a popular look in Japan and was requested by many of Kosei's customers. ![]() |

also other than the nitrogen tires, it makes it more convenient to check tire pressures while inflating the tire (mainly in the racing world etc). you know when you disconnect the chuck or just checking air in general, you always lose air.

There is this rich kid that rolls around my town with fully built 2004 STI. It just makes me drool. My friend asked him what he has done to it and he pulled out the sheet the guy gave him when he bought it and started reading off all the things. Now the other day I asked him and he just said "everything" and claimed it had 3 step.
The sad thing is, it actually is fully built and has 2 step and is 450 whp... His parent's bought it for him that way. The only thing he did to it was put a sticker on the windsheild that is about 4 feet wide and says "Impreza STI"... Just like those Honda stickers. |

There's a kid in my town that his dad bought him an evo 8 and the kid doesn't want it. He's always online looking at vans and trucks.

I don't have a problem with a "rich kid" owning a built car as long as they appreciate it and dont drive like an idiot. Some people don't get sucked up into the mod game. He bought a used fast car, who cares. As long as it gets taken care of and he's not a dick bag saying he did all the work I dont see the problem. Don't hate cause you ain't... If your parents bought you a nice built Sti I'm sure you wouldn't turn it down either.
Hearing stuff like that annoys me. A buddy of mine was born into a fortunate family and his dads a car enthusiest so for a grad present (college) he got an 09 M3. Everyone's like ah he's such a rich kid whatever. Nah. He's a good dude. With a cool dad, **** off. |

To be honest, I can't blame him for trying to claim he bought it himself. He probably was trying to avoid all the "Your daddy bought the car for you so *fill in the blank*" I know I did when I first got my WRX.

No doubt. He definitely got a lot of crap for it. To top it off, he looked younger than he was so strangers gave him a really hard time.

While it's certainly true that a good number of "rich kids" are jerks about their mommy-daddy cars, I certainly can feel the pain that the nicer ones feel. Heck, my first car was just a 2005 RS my parents bought me that I DID do a few things to (mainly for show), but I always got crap about "when will mommy stop buying upgrades for your ride?" type comments. It's the 20% that make the other 80% look bad, honestly. |

Haha, I've stopped trying to draw attention to my car through looks. I've left everything stock minus a scoopless hood and Perrin shorty antenna I got for free. 99% of people would think it's just a regular Impreza that's been debadged...unless they notice the front mount.

My response " it's AWD" A moment of confusion on both sides. |

I got a thumbs up from a srt-4.
That's it, just a thumbs up. No revving, no bov sneezing, no fwd burnout....just a thumbs up. I was so shocked I almost forgot to reply and managed to raise a finger from the steering wheel. |

A dead guy bought my car, so if someone pulls the "spoiled card", I just walk away. They don't know how I was raised, what I've done, or what I have, For ****s sake I dress like a bum.
. Only reason why I bought a NEW WRX with my father's money is because I couldn't find a decent stock used STi. I did find a few with high mileage ( Usually Bugeye's WRX's ), but mom pulled the "Hell no, I don't want you in the garage all day" card. Doesn't matter how old you are, Mom's know best :P.My car is more than just a material object to me. It's the last present my dad will ever be able to give me and I will never let this car go, it's staying in my family even after I'm dead. On Topic : My mother told me the other day when I was giving her a ride to work , "Don't hit the turbo, the road is wet". I had a "Where and how the hell did you learn about turbos?!" face on for the next few miles or so. I guess she actually listened in to my conversations o.O. Feels nice doesn't it. I got a thumbs up from an Evo X. I gave him a smile and a nod. I like when people recognize other enthusiast cars. Just nice knowing not everyone out there is a Vin Diesel wannabe.
