Here's a video of my friends R32 GTR again that I helped build. First RB26 motor I built and I learned many things. Engine is a BEAST. Made 558whp on 19psi boost. Got it up to 570+ but started to hear knock. *Dyno Dynamics on 1.12 CF*

Some pulls near the end with my STI. It holds pretty well with my car. I'm sure if he had new tires (bald 245's) he would be neck and neck with me. I drove it and it's super hard to control. 2nd gear you go sideways (crab walk.. could be alignment issue). Nonetheless... sick car.

Awesome job!! Best when you do everything by yourself...

Your issue on the gasket problem, try checking the deck of the block. I have the same problems on 2 Benson blocks, both of them push one or two sleeve down enough to push pressure out the cylinder.

Best wishes on the project!!

Thanks Georgie! You guys have an amazing sti. Always watch your videos

Yeah, I suspected that too. Motor will be coming out soon so I will verify deck height before putting new gaskets in. I have a feeling its a poor gasket though. Bariga here on Nasioc has the same motor as me and swapped out the gaskets for Cosworths and the coolant push issue is gone.

Street car for life! Lol. I'm not sure honestly...

When I have a truck and trailer I'll think about taking it off the road. Looking at some e350's with the 7.3 power stroke. Couple grand for one now and a new standard 8.5x24' enclosed is about $5800 on the west coast.

Defi needs to make a gauge that reads up to 40lbs at least.

Bought some new goodies over the weekend during the black friday sales.
Makita 18v brushless impact and hammer driver drill combo. The 1/4" hex impact puts out like 120 ft/lb and weighs like 3lbs. Took off my wheel nuts easier than my 18v 1/2" gun. Mind was blown when I first used it These tiny guns are getting stronger and stronger.

Saw them on sale for 399 CDN (reg 420) at my local tool store. Then did some research and saw them online in Canada for 268CDN +27 shipping so the guys there ended up price matching it for me for $285 CDN. What a DEAL! Tiny 3lb tool and 17mm deep impact socket is all I need to take to the track now

So my Mazda oil filters I ordered came in today. Got them through a friend who works at Mazda. These are for the 09+ RX8's that have the same bypass pressure as the Subaru filters (20+ psi). They are also made by Tokyo Roki. The same company that used to make the black filters. These are pretty much the same but have more filtering capacity (larger filter). Much cheaper too... paid $6.35 CDN + tax for them
