Default Traveling with an AccessPort OTS tune?

Here's a question I haven't found on here: For those with an AccessPort, what precautions do you take when traveling long distances? Let's say I am taking a road trip across the country. I am currently running the 93 OTS map, but travel through areas where I'm uncertain about finding 93 vs 91 gas. (I always stop at Shell stations). Do you guys just re-flash for 91 while on the road, or would you suggest flashing a 91 map before I even start the trip, just to be safe?

Thanks for your input!

if you want to leave the ap behind. flash the 91 and you'll be safe.
putting in 93 will be fine on 91 tune.

Thanks for the reply, that's what I figured. It would be my luck that I would have a problem with a re-flash in the middle of nowhere, anyway.

If it is 91 octane gas of unknown quality (such as may not be major brands), I would go ahead and reflash the 91ACN map, which is the most conservative map. You can still run this map with 93 octane gas. The other option would be to bring the AccessPORT with you and reflash (or realtime flash) the 91ACN map as needed.

Got it, thanks! I usually can find good quality stuff on the major expressways.
