Not too bad. They gave me 11.5K for my WRX and sold me the FXT for 31K (it's pretty well loaded w/nav). I thought that was a pretty good offer for my car in trade so I didn't do much haggling.

PS. First rule of tranny crew is.....

Rota started stamping SUBARU on the inside of their rims? Now that makes them really hard to tell apart.

was curious why I didnt see you the last couple days at lunch.

Hey tell me this... is it cheaper to order a $5.00 footlong ham and swiss and add 2 chips and 2 drinks, or buy two $5.00 combos?

Nah, I'm just going to use some 15mm adapters. There are a few guys on the Forester forum running the same wheels w/adapters and it puts the offset just about perfect.

Thanks you. I spend way too much time looking at everything available until I fall in love with one certain part and then I know that's what I want.

It took me forever to decide on wheels for the WRX but when I saw the EDM/JDM 17's I knew that was the ticket. Same with these.

Good call on the wheel choice. They'll look great too since your fxt is darker too. You're only going to run the spacer in the summer right? I've known some people that had ran adapters/conversion for diff bolt patterns had hub issues especially after lower and not doin corect toe/control arm adjustments to get as close to factory specs. I think you know what your doin though

Yeah I will put the stockers on in the winter from about October to about March. Plus they are only 15mm spacers and I will be using Swift Sport springs which only drop the car about 3/4 of an inch so I should be fine.

Thanks though, always appreciate the incite.

Ya only reason why I said that is since I'm 5x100 tons of options are of course 5x114 which I know blows. Being lowered 1.8front and 1.4rear for me and plans are to be either 19x9.5 or 20x9.5 I know ill have to pay some extra cash for rear lower control arms for camber adjustment then a possible toe adjustment rod replacement. Spacers would only increase the prob just didnt want to see it go that way for you if you can avoid it, which you seem to be in reason with wheel choice and not quite as extreme offsets, width, etc...can't wait for spring to see these on. I searched the forester section after you posted and didn't see anything so props for going a more unique route rather than...*cough* rota grids/torques or rpf1s

I first saw it done on Subaruforester.org

Here are a couple photos. One of them the same color combo as mine only lowered far more than mine will be.

So not completely original but I don't think I will see another like it in person anytime soon. Now I just need to decide on tires. I'm thinking either Micheline Pilot Sports or Continental Extreme Contacts as I ran both on my WRX and was happy.

Its a subtle change which most won't think anything of it, but that looks really good. Around here you won't see another like that

Yeah I don't want to stand out. Just something different that is clean and simple. Something normal people wouldn't think twice about but Subie people will know what's up.
